Jacob Markstrom G | NJ
Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Set to start Monday
Markstrom is expected to guard the road goal against Minnesota on Monday, per Kristy Flannery of The Hockey News.
Markstrom will get the second half of New Jersey's back-to-back after Jake Allen plays in Sunday's road matchup against Winnipeg. The 35-year-old Markstrom surrendered nine goals on only 24 shots in Tuesday's 9-0 loss to the Islanders. He has a 10-10-1 record with a 3.48 GAA and an .878 save percentage through 22 appearances this season. Minnesota is tied for 16th in the league with 3.11 goals per game during the 2025-26 campaign.

Alex Nedeljkovic G | SJ
Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Hangs on for OT win
Nedeljkovic turned aside 16 shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Stars.
The veteran netminder was staring at 2-0 and 4-2 deficits over the course of the afternoon but got bailed out by the Sharks' power play, which struck four times including Tyler Toffoli's OT winner. Nedeljkovic could be playing for his job right now with San Jose having acquired Laurent Brossoit on Thursday, and the former isn't making a great case to stick around -- over his last five outings, he's 2-2-0 with a 3.67 GAA and .847 save percentage.

Nikita Tolopilo G | VAN
Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Summoned from AHL
Tolopilo was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Sunday under emergency conditions.
Tolopilo will probably serve as Kevin Lankinen's backup in Monday's road game against Montreal after Thatcher Demko (lower body) sustained an injury in Saturday's 5-0 loss to Toronto. The 25-year-old Tolopilo has stopped 92 of the 101 shots he has faced in four NHL appearances this season en route to a 2-1-0 record.

Charlie Lindgren G | WAS
Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Second start of month
Lindgren will get the start Sunday against the Predators, Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post reports.
It will be just the second start of the month for Lindgren, the backup goaltender in Washington behind Logan Thompson. Lindgren has a 7-4-2 record, 3.13 GAA and .890 save percentage entering play Sunday and has won back-to-back starts. He'll face a Predators team that has been held to two goals or fewer in three straight games.

Sergei Bobrovsky G | FLA
Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Holds on for win
Bobrovsky stopped 17 of 19 shots on goal in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Senators.
Bobrovsky gave up a goal early and another one late but held firm in between to get his team back in the win column. The 37-year-old netminder now has an 18-12-1 record with a 2.90 GAA and an .881 save percentage through 31 games this season. The win was his first of the calendar year across four tries. While his overall quality of play has taken a step back since last year, Bobrovsky has a chance to turn his season around as the desperation level rises for the back-to-back Stanley Cup champions in the second half of the campaign. He remains on pace for his third consecutive year with 30-plus wins, giving him solid fantasy value in most two-goalie formats moving forward.

Casey DeSmith G | DAL
Stars' Casey DeSmith: Sunk by Sharks in OT
DeSmith stopped 26 shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to San Jose.
The Stars took a 2-0 lead into the first intermission, but the refs made it tough for DeSmith to keep his team in front -- four of the Sharks' five goals were scored on power plays, including Tyler Toffoli's OT winner. The five goals were the most DeSmith had allowed since Oct. 16, and his numbers have begun to slip with a heavier workload. In nine outings since the beginning of December, the 34-year-old netminder is 4-1-3 with a 2.92 GAA and .902 save percentage.

Jake Allen G | NJ
Devils' Jake Allen: Tending twine Sunday
Allen will defend the road net against Winnipeg on Sunday, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.
Allen is coming off a 25-save effort in Thursday's 4-1 loss to Pittsburgh. He has gone 11-10-1 this season with one shutout, a 2.61 GAA and a .909 save percentage through 23 appearances. Winnipeg is tied for 21st in the league with 2.91 goals per game during the 2025-26 campaign.

Trent Miner G | COL
Avalanche's Trent Miner: Blanks Jackets for first shutout
Miner made 29 saves in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Blue Jackets.
Called back up from AHL Colorado on Friday to fill in for Mackenzie Blackwood (lower body), Miner was put to work right away and recorded his first NHL shutout in his fifth career outing at the top level. Scott Wedgewood should see the bulk of the action while Blackwood is sidelined, but Miner's performance could earn the latter more work than anticipated. Through 10 AHL appearances this season, Miner has gone 7-2-0 with a 2.40 GAA and .907 save percentage.

Elvis Merzlikins G | CLB
Blue Jackets' Elvis Merzlikins: Gets no help in Colorado
Merzlikins turned aside 27 shots in Saturday's 4-0 loss to the Avalanche.
The Blue Jackets' skaters left their offense on the plane in Colorado, giving Merzlikins no margin for error. The 31-year-old netminder was making his first start since Dec. 20, and while he didn't allow any soft goals, this performance won't be enough to loosen Jet Greaves' hammerlock on the starting job for Columbus. On the season, Merzlikins is 6-7-1 in 15 outings with a rough 4.03 GAA and .877 save percentage.

Arturs Silovs G | PIT
Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Falls to Flames on Saturday
Silovs stopped 23 shots in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Calgary.
The 24-year-old netminder had little chance on either goal. The first came on a Connor Zary breakaway early in the first period, while the winner by Matthew Coronato was fired through a screen 42 seconds into the third. It was Silovs' first loss since Dec. 18, snapping a four-start win streak, but it was also the first time he allowed fewer than three goals since Nov. 14 against the Predators. On the season, Silovs is 8-6-6 over 20 outings with a 3.18 GAA and .886 save percentage, and while he's splitting the Pittsburgh crease with Stuart Skinner right now, that could soon change -- Skinner has given up just three goals on 69 shots over his last three starts.
