Jorge Polanco 1B | NYM
Twins' Jorge Polanco: Rips late home run
Polanco went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 9-5 loss to the White Sox.
Polanco's lone hit of the night came at an opportune time, as he launched a go-ahead two-run blast in the eighth to put the Twins up 5-4. The homer would ultimately go for naught after the bullpen gave back the lead in the bottom half of the frame. The 27-year-old has rattled off at least one base knock in eight of his last 10 games and has three homers and three multi-hit efforts over that span too. For the year, he's slashing .255/.319/.433 with 13 homers, 46 RBI, 50 runs scored, eight steals and a 29:55 BB:K over 357 plate appearances.

Jose Altuve 2B | HOU
Astros' Jose Altuve: Homers twice in win
Altuve went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs and a walk in Tuesday's 9-3 win over Cleveland.
Altuve went deep in each of his first two at-bats. He led off both the bottom half of the first and third inning with a home run against Triston McKenzie but was relatively quiet the rest of the evening. The 31-year-old has gone a bit cold at the dish this month, slashing .220/.270/.492 with five homers, 14 RBI, nine runs scored, a steal and a 4:10 BB:K over 14 games. Tuesday was just his second multi-hit performance over the last 20 games, but also his second multi-homer tally of the year. Overall, Altuve is slashing .275/.356/.500 with 22 homers, 57 RBI, 68 runs scored, four steals and a 44:60 BB:K over 390 plate appearances. Altuve's lack of activity on the basepaths has certainly not helped his value. He consistently stole 30-plus bases from 2012 to 2017, but he hasn't exceeded 17 in a season since and is on track for under 10 for a third straight year.

Ernie Clement 2B | TOR
Indians' Ernie Clement: Reaches base three times in loss
Clement went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Tuesday's 9-3 loss to the Astros.
Clement has played sparingly since being called up to the squad June 13. He hadn't recorded a hit in five games since July 3 and hadn't posted a multi-hit effort since July 28. The 25-year-old has appeared in just eight games this month and will continue to hold a reserve role. He has 10 hits, an RBI, eight runs scored and a 3:7 BB:K over 51 plate appearances this season.

Luis Arraez 2B | SF
Twins' Luis Arraez: Dealing with sore knee
Arraez was removed from Tuesday's game against the White Sox with right knee soreness, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Arraez appeared to suffer the injury during the third inning when he slipped while fielding a ball in left field. The 24-year-old should be considered day-to-day heading into Wednesday's series finale with Chicago.

Harold Castro 2B | KC
Tigers' Harold Castro: Subs in for hurting Paredes
Castro will start at second base and bat seventh Tuesday against the Rangers.
He'll be filling in for Isaac Paredes, who is day-to-day after picking up a hip injury in Monday's 14-0 win. Castro picked up a start at shortstop for a resting Zack Short on Monday and went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, an RBI and a run in the blowout victory.

Jack Mayfield 2B | LAA
Angels' Jack Mayfield: Gets Tuesday off
Mayfield is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Athletics.
Luis Rengifo will get the nod at third base while Mayfield heads to the bench after a stretch of six consecutive starts. During that span, Mayfield went 3-for-16 with a solo home run, a double and two additional runs. He'll remain atop the depth chart while Anthony Rendon (hamstring) is on the shelf, but Mayfield's sickly .478 OPS for the season won't make him an appealing fantasy option outside of deep AL-only leagues.

Cavan Biggio RF | HOU
Blue Jays' Cavan Biggio: Pops seventh homer
Biggio went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Red Sox.
He took Nick Pivetta deep in the fourth inning, but the Jays came into the frame already in a 12-0 hole. Biggio hadn't gone yard since June 16, snapping a 22-game power drought with the blast, and on the season he's slashing .226/.331/.378 with seven homers, three steals, 25 RBI and 26 runs through 67 contests.

Tony Kemp 2B | MIN
Athletics' Tony Kemp: Steals base Monday
Kemp went 1-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base in Monday's 4-1 win over the Angels.
Kemp walked his first time up and later reached on a bunt single before stealing his fifth bag of the year. The 29-year-old hit well for the majority of June, but he started to tail off toward the end of the month and is slashing just .120/.286/.160 with six hits, one RBI, two runs scored and a 9:15 BB:K over 18 games since June 25. Kemp may no longer be an everyday player with Mark Canha having come back from the 10-day injured list over the weekend.

Amed Rosario 3B | NYY
Indians' Amed Rosario: Three hits in loss
Rosario went 3-for-5 in Monday's 4-3 loss to Houston.
The shortstop has put together a five-game hitting streak, going 9-for-22 (.409) with three doubles, two RBI and a run scored in that span. Rosario continues to be a solid hitter in the No. 2 spot, slashing .270/.313/.379 through 332 plate appearances.

Enrique Hernandez SS | LAD
Red Sox's Enrique Hernandez: Slugs two homers
Hernandez went 3-for-5 with a double, two home runs, three RBI, a walk and three runs scored Monday against the Blue Jays.
Hernandez belted a two-run homer in the top of the first inning, and he delivered a solo homer in the top of the sixth, marking his 12th and 13th home runs of the season. His performance at the plate was a welcome sight for Boston, as Hernandez was just 1-for-17 over his last five contests entering the night.
