Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Steals base in win
Marte went 0-for-4 with a stolen base and run scored in Friday's 8-0 win over the Rockies.
Marte was in Friday's starting lineup after he was pulled from Wednesday's game with stiffness in his hip. Thursday's off day allowed for healing, and Marte showed the hip wasn't an issue by stealing his first base of the season.

Tim Tawa 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Tim Tawa: Starts in center against lefty
Tawa started in center field and went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI in Friday's 8-0 win over Colorado.
Tawa replaced Alek Thomas in center field against Rockies left-hander Carson Palmquist. He also replaced Thomas against San Francisco southpaw Robbie Ray earlier in the week. Tawa was dislodged from an infield utility role when the Diamondbacks called up Jordan Lawlar, but he'll fill the short side of a platoon in center. Tawa carries a .228 average (18-for-79), but he's slugged five home runs and three doubles (.228 ISO) through 27 games.

Brett Wisely 2B | ATL
Giants' Brett Wisely: Optioned to Triple-A
The Giants optioned Wisely to Triple-A Sacramento on Friday.

He'll return to Triple-A, where he is slashing .235/.325/.431 with three steals, five home runs and 19 RBI in 118 plate appearances.

Pirates' Nick Gonzales: Embarking on rehab assignment
Gonzalez (ankle) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Indianapolis on Friday.
Gonzalez fractured his left ankle on Opening Day in late March, and it wasn't until early May that he was able to shed a walking boot and take part in baseball activities. He's taking the next step in his recovery by starting a rehab assignment, and how his ankle responds after this weekend's games will determine a timeline for his return to the majors.

Helman was claimed off waivers by the Pirates on Wednesday after being DFA'd by the Cardinals. He is slashing .185/.260/.292 with one steal, one home run and five RBI across 73 plate appearances in Triple-A this season.
