Lowe is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Angels.

The lefty-hitting Lowe will take a seat with southpaw Tucker Davidson toeing the rubber for the Angels. Yu Chang will draw the start at second base and bat fifth Monday.

Lowe went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored Sunday against the Royals.

Lowe entered Sunday's game with only three hits across his last 36 at-bats -- spanning 10 games. Despite the encouraging performance, Lowe still has no extra-base hits since Aug. 5. For the season, he has a .235/.313/.410 line across 243 plate appearances.

Polanco is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.

After missing two games with a knee injury early last week, Polanco checked back into the lineup Friday and played each of the first three contests of the series with the Rangers, going 3-for-10 with a double and a walk. The Twins haven't provided any indication that Polanco is dealing with a setback with the knee, so he's presumably sitting out Monday in a pre-planned maintenance day. Luis Arraez will spell Polanco at the keystone.

Haggerty (shoulder) came off the bench and contributed a pair of stolen bases in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Athletics.

Though he was scratched from the lineup in advance of the series finale with a sore left shoulder, Haggerty was still available off the bench in a pinch-running capacity. He ended up delivering value in that capacity for fantasy managers in weekly leagues who had Haggerty in lineups, as the 28-year-old turned in his third and fourth stolen bases of the week. Assuming the shoulder isn't bothering him too much when he takes batting practice following Monday's off day, Haggerty could be back in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener with the Nationals.

Semien went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's 7-0 win over the Twins.

Semien delivered the winning run -- himself -- with a solo shot in the fourth, then knocked in individuals runs in the seventh and ninth innings. He's been fighting it at the plate recently and entered Sunday, batting .121 (4-for-33) over the previous eight contests. The home run was his 19th.

Merrifield went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and two walks during Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Yankees.

Merrifield has been in the strong side of a platoon since being traded to the Blue Jays in early August, and he's gotten off to a slow start at the plate with his new team. Since the trade, the 33-year-old has hit .250 with a homer, six runs, two RBI and a stolen base. Merrifield will likely have to settle for occasional days off as long as Santiago Espinal and George Springer remain healthy.

Marte went 1-for-5 with a strikeout in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Cardinals.

Marte missed six games with a left hamstring injury. The lackluster return to action put him at a .257/.341/.431 slash line through 431 plate appearances this year. He's added 10 home runs, 42 RBI, 56 runs scored and four stolen bases, though he shouldn't be expected to run much since he's had hamstring issues off and on throughout the year. If Marte continues to serve as the designated hitter, Josh Rojas and Emmanuel Rivera should both be able to fit into the lineup regularly at second base and third base, respectively.

Kim went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Nationals.

Kim has cooled off a bit since his three-hit, four-RBI game Wednesday. Across his last four contests, he's gone 2-for-13 with a pair of walks, though he was able to add a steal Sunday, which was his second in August and his ninth of the year. The shortstop is slashing .252/.329/.375 with six home runs, 44 RBI and 44 runs scored through 113 contests.

Dubon went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's 5-4 win over Atlanta.

Dubon singled and scored on two occasions Sunday, including in the ninth inning when he also stole second base. He's now successfully stolen two bags in five attempts on the year. The 28-year-old utility man improved his slash line to .222/.265/.328 with 25 runs scored and 20 RBI through 198 plate appearances.

Garcia (groin) will report to Triple-A Rochester to begin a rehab assignment Tuesday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Garcia said Sunday that he feels 100 percent recovered from the left groin strain that landed him on the IL on Aug. 15, so his main focus during the rehab assignment will be getting comfortable playing second base again. Prior to landing on the shelf, Garcia had been serving as the Nationals' everyday shortstop, but CJ Abrams is expected to occupy that position the rest of the season while Garcia settles in at the keystone, which has been Cesar Hernandez's domain.
