Ibanez was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.

This move doesn't come as a major surprise, as Ibanez had starting losing out on playing time and had hit .161 with zero home runs in his last 20 games. Steele Walker's contract was purchased in a corresponding move.

Drury went 2-for-4 with a walk, a solo home run, two additional runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 10-8 loss to the Nationals.

The steal was his first of the year but the homer was his ninth, as Drury took Nats closer Tanner Rainey deep in the ninth inning. The veteran utility player has three multi-hit performances in the last four games, but on the season Drury is slashing a less electric .252/.317/.479 slash line with 27 RBI and 31 runs through 44 contests.

Gimenez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Orioles.

His second-inning blast off Tyler Wells gave the Guardians a 2-1 lead, but by the bottom of the third they fell behind for good. Gimenez has hit safely in seven straight games, batting .385 (10-for-26) over that stretch to boost his slash line on the season up to .308/.331/.526 with a career-high six homers and 26 RBI, plus four steals and 18 runs, through 41 contests.

Lopez is not in Sunday's lineup against the Astros.

Lopez is hitting .286 with one steal over his last 10 games. Whit Merrifield will start at the keystone.

Donovan went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a run scored and four RBI in a 7-4 extra-inning win over the Cubs in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader.

After going 1-for-3 with a walk in a 6-1 loss during the matinee, Donovan swung the biggest stick for the Cards in the nightcap, with his second two-run double of the game coming in the 10th inning. The 25-year-old continues to play nearly every day in a super-utility role, slashing .315/.440/.438 through 34 games with a homer, two steals, 14 RBI and 15 runs while seeing action in at least six games so far at all four infield positions plus right field.

Brujan is not in Sunday's lineup against the White Sox.

With Taylor Walls (calf) returning to action, the Rays aren't quite as shorthanded as they had been for the past few days. Brujan is hitting .148 over his last 10 games.

Altuve went 0-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base in Saturday's 6-0 loss to the Royals.

Altuve walked and stole second in the seventh inning, but he was left on base. He's now gone 1-for-14 with five walks, an RBI, a steal and a run scored in four games since he was deemed good-to-go after a potential head injury Monday. The second baseman has a .265/.345/.510 slash line with 10 home runs, three steals, 17 RBI and 24 runs scored in 38 contests overall, so it's likely he works out of his current slump in the near future.

Marte went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and a run scored in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Pirates.

Marte is on a 16-game hitting streak, and he was the only Diamondback to record multiple hits Saturday. He's 23-for-59 (.390) during the streak. The second baseman hasn't enjoyed over-the-fence power with just three home runs in 50 contests, but he's up to 19 doubles. He's posted a .268/.338/.432 slash line with 18 RBI, 25 runs scored and three stolen bases this season.

Semien went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Mariners.

Semien stole third in the fourth inning before coming around to score on an Adolis Garcia homer. The steal was Semien's fifth in his last 11 games and his eighth of the season in nine attempts. The infielder has a .191/.253/.275 slash line with two home runs, 18 RBI, 24 runs scored, nine doubles and a triple through 51 contests, though he's also hit safely in eight of his last 11 games as he begins to turn things around at the plate.

Hoerner isn't starting the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.

Hoerner started at shortstop in the first game of the twin bill and went 2-for-3 with two runs and a stolen base. However, Andrelton Simmons will shift to shortstop while Christopher Morel starts at second base in the nightcap.
