Jake Cronenworth 1B | SD
Padres' Jake Cronenworth: Taking live at-bats
Cronenworth (ribs) has been cleared for all baseball activity and began taking live at-bats at the Padres' spring complex Thursday, MLB.com reports.
Cronenworth has been on the injured list since April 11 due to a non-displaced right rib fracture, and while he hasn't fully healed, the infielder could return to action before that occurs. It's not yet clear how long Cronenworth will need to ramp back up, and he may need at least a brief minor-league rehab stint before returning to the big club, but he could be back with San Diego within the next few weeks. While Cronenworth has been out, Jose Iglesias has been getting the bulk of the starts at second base.

Garcia has reached base safely in seven straight games, and over that span he has gone 9-for-25 (.360) with three stolen bases, three runs scored, one home run and two RBI.

Red Sox's Kristian Campbell: Labeled day-to-day
Campbell (ribs) is considered day-to-day after being scratched from the lineup Thursday against the Blue Jays, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

Adael Amador SS | COL
Rockies' Adael Amador: Sitting down Thursday
Amador isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Giants.

Santiago Espinal 2B | LAD
Reds' Santiago Espinal: Drives in two runs
Espinal went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in Thursday's 9-1 win against the Cardinals.
Espinal delivered his second consecutive multi-hit game and finished the three-game set versus St. Louis with five hits in nine plate appearances. The 30-year-old hasn't had a regular presence in the lineup since Matt McLain returned from his hamstring injury in mid-April, but Espinal has been performing well as a bench option this year with a .324/.378/.382 slash line through 23 contests.

Kristian Campbell 2B | BOS
Red Sox's Kristian Campbell: Scratched Thursday
Campbell was scratched from the lineup ahead of Thursday's game against the Blue Jays due to right rib discomfort, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.
The severity of Campbell's injury remains unknown, but it's apparently enough of a nuisance to warrant a day off Thursday. While we wait for more information, Jarren Duran will shift to center field to cover for the 22-year-old, opening up left field for Rob Refsnyder.

Tyler Fitzgerald CF | SF
Giants' Tyler Fitzgerald: On injured list with fractured rib
The Giants placed Fitzgerald on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a left rib fracture.
Fitzgerald dealt with a chest contusion that sidelined him in both games over the weekend, but was able to return to action Tuesday and Wednesday. After going 1-for-5 in those two contests, he will spend some time on the injured list with Brett Wisely being recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Thursday. Fitzgerald had an MRI on Thursday that revealed the fracture, and he expected to be out at least two weeks, per Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Giants' Brett Wisely: Recalled from Sacramento
The Giants recalled Wisely from Triple-A Sacramento on Thursday.
With Tyler Fitzgerald on the injured list and set to miss time due to a fractured rib, the Giants will turn to Wisely to replenish their infield depth. The 25-year-old has been in the minors all season, slashing .235/.325/.431 with five homers, 19 RBI, 18 runs scored and three stolen bases through 27 games. He'll likely operate in a reserve role while Christian Koss receives the bulk of starts at the keystone.

Brewers' Brice Turang: Back in Milwaukee lineup
Turang (illness) will start at second base and bat leadoff in Thursday's contest against the White Sox.

The second baseman is slashing .317/.368/.408 with three home runs and eight stolen bases in his first 30 games for the Brewers this season.
