  • Brett Wisely 2B | ATL

Giants' Brett Wisely: Sits against southpaw

Wisely is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Tigers, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The lefty-hitting Wisely will see his streak of nine consecutive starts at the keystone come to an end while David Villar mans second base in his stead as the Giants face off against southpaw Tarik Skubal. At least until Brandon Crawford (knee) returns from the injured list, Wisely should have a clear path to everyday playing time versus right-handers, and he was even included in the lineup in Sunday's 6-1 loss against the Nationals and southpaw MacKenzie Gore.

  • Royals' Michael Massey: Homers Sunday

Massey went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 8-5 loss to the Yankees.

Massey now has three homers in his last three games after going 24 contests without a long ball. Even with his recent power surge, it's been a tough month at the plate for the 25-year-old Massey -- he's gone 9-for-46 with a .669 OPS in 14 games since the start of July. Overall, the 25-year-old second baseman is slashing .213/.267/.343 with seven homers, 29 RBI, 19 runs scored and three steals across 251 plate appearances this season.

  • Luis Arraez 2B | SF

Marlins' Luis Arraez: Collects trio of hits

Arraez went 3-for-4 with one double, two RBI and one run scored in Sunday's victory over Colorado.

Arraez notched his second consecutive multi-hit effort Sunday, plating Nick Fortes with an RBI double in the sixth and then notching a walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th to give Miami the win. Over his last eight appearances, Arraez is batting .371 with seven RBI and two runs scored.

  • Bryson Stott 2B | PHI

Phillies' Bryson Stott: Runs wild in Cleveland

Stott went 0-for-1 with four walks, a run scored and three steals in Sunday's win over the Guardians.

Stott flew around the basepaths Sunday, nabbing a single-game career-high in walks while tying his career-best in stolen bases. Through 93 games, Stott is slashing .304/.348/.436 with nine home runs and 19 steals and is striking out at a 15.6 percent clip.

  • Ketel Marte 2B | ARI

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: On base five times

Marte went 2-for-2 with three walks and a run scored in Sunday's 7-3 loss to Cincinnati.

Marte is rolling with hits in four straight games. The second baseman is 7-for-14 with four walks, two doubles, two home runs, five RBI and three runs scored during that stretch and now has an .887 OPS through 93 games this season.

  • Zach Remillard 2B | CHW

White Sox's Zach Remillard: Hits first major-league home run

Remillard went 2-for-5 with a solo homer, two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's loss to the Twins.

Remillard cranked his first big-league home run with a blast to left center in the third and then followed up with an RBI single in the fifth. It was his first RBI since July 7 and his fourth multi-hit game this month. Though it appears the 29-year-old has lost out on an everyday spot, he's provided a nice spark when in the lineup, slashing .309/.371/.407 with six extra-base hits, 13 RBI, 10 runs and a 7:26 BB:K in 92 plate appearances. It shouldn't be expected he'll keep those numbers up though, considering he hit .244/.340/.376 over three seasons at Triple-A.

  • Luis Rengifo 2B | MIL

Angels' Luis Rengifo: Belts two homers

Rengifo went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in Sunday's win over the Pirates.

Rengifo went deep in the fifth and sixth innings Sunday, bringing him to nine home runs on the year. Five of those have come in the last 14 games and he's gone 12-for-40 (.300) during that span. Still, he's slashing just .220/.309/.365 with 29 RBI and 16 extra-base hits through 275 plate appearances.

  • Andy Ibanez 2B | ATH

Tigers' Andy Ibanez: Goes deep Sunday

Ibanez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Padres.

Ibanez and Spencer Torkelson each went deep to power the Tigers to the victory. It was Ibanez's seventh home run of the season and first so far in July. The utility player has flashed on occasion this year, though he hasn't been an elite offensive option with a .685 OPS across 67 games. Ibanez should continue to move around the diamond for Detroit with only limited fantasy appeal at this point.

  • Mauricio Dubon 2B | ATL

Astros' Mauricio Dubon: Pops go-ahead homer

Dubon went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Athletics.

Dubon picked a good time to end a 21-game homer drought, going deep in the ninth inning to put the Astros ahead for good. The second baseman hit a meager .212 with three extra-base hits during his power outage. Dubon's at a solid .269/.293/.382 slash line with five homers, 27 RBI, 53 runs scored and six stolen bases through 341 plate appearances. He'll likely continue to enjoy a starting role until Jose Altuve (oblique) returns, at which point Dubon will likely see utility usage.

  • Owen Miller 2B | CHC

Brewers' Owen Miller: Records 13th steal

Miller went 1-for-3 with one RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 4-2 loss to Atlanta.

Miller is batting just .194 (12-for-62) in July, and he's not helping his cause with a 4:16 BB:K. The versatile 26-year-old continues to fill a regular role at first base while Rowdy Tellez (forearm) is out of action. Miller's posted a .271/.311/.386 slash line with 13 steals, five home runs, 27 RBI and 29 runs scored across 82 contests this season, but he may slip back into a platoon if he can't pick up the pace soon.
