Andy Ibanez 2B | NYM
Tigers' Andy Ibanez: Summoned to majors
Ibanez was recalled from Triple-A Toledo on Saturday.
Ibanez has played first base, second base, third base, left field and designated hitter thus far at Triple-A, so he should be poised for a utility role in the short term. The 30-year-old slashed .297/.418/.609 with five home runs and two steals in 20 games for the Mud Hens. The last time he had a stat line this impressive was in 2021 when he was with the Rangers' Triple-A affiliate. Ibanez is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Orioles.

Josh Rojas 3B | CHW
Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Delivers off bench
Rojas went 1-for-3 with three RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 9-1 win over the Rockies.
The 28-year-old pinch hit for shortstop Nick Ahmed in the seventh inning and remained in the game to play third base. Rojas knocked in a run on a fielder's choice before delivering two more runs on a double in the ninth. The hit snapped an 0-for-15 run for Rojas, who is up to 14 RBI and three steals through 22 games. With right-hander Noah Davis on the hill for Colorado on Saturday, expect Rojas back in the starting lineup and leading off for the Diamondbacks.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Clobbers third homer of seaosn

Marte's 435-foot long ball broke the ice in the third inning, giving Arizona a 1-0 lead. The 29-year-old now has three homers on the season and is well on pace to pass his total of 12 from last year. The infielder is currently slashing .258/.298/.464 in 104 plate appearances.

Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Sitting against lefty
Rojas is not in the starting lineup Friday at Colorado.
It'll be a righty-heavy attack for the Diamondbacks with southpaw Kyle Freeland on the mound for the Rockies. Rojas has a .711 OPS this year against righties and a .522 OPS versus lefties.

Rylan Bannon 2B | NYM
Astros' Rylan Bannon: Starting at DH in Astros debut
Bannon is starting at designated hitter and batting eighth Friday versus the Phillies.
Bannon will make his Astros debut after being called up from Triple-A Sugar Land way back on April 18. The 27-year-old was batting an underwhelming .190 with Sugar Land, producing one homer, seven RBI, four runs and a stolen base over 42 at-bats. With Yordan Alvarez (neck) unavailable Friday, Bannon will look to make a splash and seize his opportunity.

Christian Arroyo 2B | NYM
Red Sox's Christian Arroyo: Not starting Friday
Arroyo (hamstring) isn't in Boston's lineup Friday against the Guardians, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.
Arroyo didn't start Wednesday against Baltimore either, but he was able to enter the game as a pinch hitter and stay in at second base. He'll get another day to nurse his sore right hamstring while Enmanuel Valdez starts at second base and bats ninth.

Nicky Lopez 3B | CHC
Royals' Nicky Lopez: Sitting Friday

Lopez will take a seat after he went 3-for-10 with an RBI and two strikeouts over the last three contests. Hunter Dozier will draw the start at third base and bat eighth against Minnesota.
