Miguel Vargas 2B | CHW
White Sox's Miguel Vargas: Goes deep Sunday
Vargas went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Sunday's loss to the Padres.
Vargas took Yu Darvish deep to left center in the sixth to put the White Sox back up 2-1, though the lead would vanish in the eighth. Vargas picked up his first multi-hit game as a member of the White Sox and just his second home run and stolen base. In 36 games with his new team, Vargas is batting .122/.231/.200 with seven RBI, eight runs and a 15:38 BB:K in 138 plate appearances.

Alex Bregman 3B | HOU
Astros' Alex Bregman: Goes deep in loss
Bregman went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's loss to the Angels.
Bregman started the game's scoring with an RBI sacrifice fly in the third inning. He then ripped a two-run shot in the fifth before singling and scoring a run in each of the eighth and ninth innings. Bregman has gone deep twice in his last three games after hitting just two home runs in his previous 17 appearances. He now owns a .758 OPS with 55 extra-base hits and 78 runs scored through 141 games.

Jazz Chisholm CF | NYY
Yankees' Jazz Chisholm: Making push for 40 steals
Chisholm went 1-for-3 with a walk, one RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Athletics.
Chisholm has been a flash on the basepaths with 10 steals over 19 games in September. He's up to 38 thefts on the season, and while he's been caught stealing 10 times, that volume puts him in position to push for a 40-steal campaign. In addition to the elite speed, he's slashing a reliable .256/.326/.434 with 23 home runs, 70 RBI, 74 runs scored, 19 doubles and four triples over 142 games between the Yankees and the Marlins this year.

Maikel Garcia 3B | KC
Royals' Maikel Garcia: Regaining playing time
Garcia will start at third base and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Giants.
Garcia will pick up his fourth consecutive start and may have re-emerged as the Royals' preferred option at third base ahead of Adam Frazier and Paul DeJong. Since the beginning of September, Garcia has gotten on base at a poor .245 clip, but he's offered a bit of fantasy value with his speed (four steals).

Emmanuel Rivera 3B | BAL
Orioles' Emmanuel Rivera: Heads to bench Sunday
Rivera is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.
Rivera had started in each of the Orioles' last nine games while slashing .276/.333/.414 with one home run and two walks during that stretch, but he'll head to the bench for the series finale. With both Jordan Westburg (hand) and Ramon Urias (ankle) picking up starts in the infield in their returns from the 10-day injured list Sunday, Rivera could be at risk of falling into a part-time role during the final week of the season.

DJ LeMahieu 3B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Resumes baseball activities
LeMahieu (hip) has been doing some baseball activities, including hitting off a tee, Greg Joyce of the New York Post reports.
LeMahieu landed on the injured list Sept. 9 due to a right hip impingement. The veteran infielder hasn't been ruled out from returning before the end of the regular season, though it's unclear how close he may be to being ready to play in games. LeMahieu will likely take on a bench role if he's able to play again this season, as the Yankees are set across the infield and have Giancarlo Stanton locked in as the everyday DH.

Rafael Devers 3B | BOS
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Will not require shoulder surgery
Devers will not require offseason surgery after MRIs on both shoulders revealed inflammation, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
Though he has had problems with both shoulders for a large chunk of the season, Devers' left (non-throwing) shoulder is considered to be the bigger issue. Thankfully, he looks like he'll be able to make a full recovery with extended rest. Devers was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday, officially ending his season.

Ramon Urias 3B | BAL
Orioles' Ramon Urias: Activated, starting at third base
The Orioles activated Urias (ankle) from the 10-day injured list Sunday.
The 30-year-old missed the last three weeks of action with a sprained ankle but has been cleared to return after going 3-for-9 with a home run in three rehab contests with Triple-A Norfolk. Urias is starting at third base and batting eighth Sunday versus the Tigers in his return to action.

Jordan Westburg 2B | BAL
Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Returns from IL, starting at 2B
The Orioles activated Westburg (hand) from the 10-day injured list Sunday.
Westburg hasn't played since July due to a fractured right hand but is ready to roll after reaching base six times and hitting a home run in three rehab games with Triple-A Norfolk. He played second base twice and third base once at Norfolk and is starting at second base for the Orioles on Sunday in his return to the lineup. With Ramon Urias (ankle) also back from the IL, Jackson Holliday could be in line to see his playing time dip.
