Rengifo went 3-for-5 with a stolen base and three runs scored in Tuesday's 10-7 win over the Rockies.

This was Rengifo's first multi-hit effort in seven games since he returned from a bout of wrist inflammation. The infielder was one of four Angels with multiple hits in Tuesday's high-scoring contest. He's up to a .306/.352/.424 slash line with 24 steals, six home runs, 30 RBI and 41 runs scored over 76 games this season.

Riley went 4-for-5 with one RBI and one run scored in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Brewers.

Riley has four multi-hit efforts and five hitless games over 10 contests since the All-Star break. This was his best of that span, though all four of his hits Tuesday were singles. The third baseman is batting .284 (25-for-88) over 23 games in July, lifting him up to a .259/.326/.452 slash line for the year. Riley has added 14 home runs, 43 RBI, 52 runs scored, 22 doubles and two triples across 92 contests. Barring a late surge, he'll miss the 30-homer mark for the first time since the abbreviated 2020 campaign.

Chisholm went 3-for-6 with a pair of home runs and five RBI in Tuesday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the Phillies.

Chisholm has certainly made an early impression in New York -- he took Aaron Nola for a solo homer in the sixth inning before launching a three-run shot off left-hander Matt Strahm in the seventh to put the Yankees ahead 5-4. It's the second straight two-homer game for Chisholm, who's gone 6-for-15 with four round trippers and eight RBI in three games since he was traded from Miami. He's now slashing .254/.327/.436 through 446 plate appearances this year with 17 homers, 58 RBI, 51 runs scored and 23 stolen bases.

Urias went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Tuesday's 6-2 win over Toronto.

Urias led off the third inning with an opposite-field blast off Chris Bassitt, his fifth homer of the year and first since June 19. Urias would also record his second three-hit game this season -- he'd gone just 2-for-18 in seven contests prior to Tuesday. Overall, 30-year-old Urias is slashing .244/.316/.384 with 18 RBI and 20 runs scored across 190 plate appearances. He's seen his playing time tick up since Jorge Mateo (elbow) was placed on the IL. However, despite his performance Tuesday, Urias will likely return to a utility role following Jackson Holliday's recall to the majors.

The White Sox recalled Sosa from Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday.

With Paul DeJong getting dealt to the Royals earlier Tuesday, the White Sox will turn to Sosa to replenish its infield depth. The 24-year-old owns a .237/.274/.350 slash line through 187 plate appearances with the White Sox, and he has put up similar numbers since being optioned to Charlotte on July 17.

The Angels acquired Lugo, infielder Niko Kavadas and right-handers Ryan Zeferjahn and Yeferson Vargas from the Red Sox on Tuesday in exchange for right-hander Luis Garcia, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

Lugo broke out in the upper levels of the minors this season, slashing .285/.375/.567 with 16 home runs, 16 steals, a 35.4 percent hard-hit rate and a 23.9 percent strikeout rate in 78 games across Double-A and Triple-A. A shortstop when he was selected in the second round of the 2019 First-Year Player Draft, Lugo has slid down the defensive spectrum and primarily played left field this season as a 23-year-old. Given that it would have been difficult for the right-handed hitter to get an opportunity as an everyday player in Boston anytime soon, this trade boosts his dynasty value slightly, as it should be easier for him to get a look on the second-division Angels.

The Rangers traded Wendzel to the Reds for cash considerations Tuesday, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.

Wendzel lost his 40-man spot with Texas on Monday after being designated for assignment to make room for Josh Jung's (wrist) reinstatement from the injured list. He's projected to begin his tenure with the Reds organization at the Triple-A level.

Chaparro was traded from the Diamondbacks to the Nationals on Tuesday in exchange for Dylan Floro, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Chaparro became a prospect of note with the Yankees from 2019 through 2022, but he had a down year in 2023 at Triple-A (90 wRC+, .247/.331/.444 slash line) and joined the Diamondbacks on a minor-league deal this past offseason. The 25-year-old corner infielder did much better in his second year at Triple-A, slashing .332/.403/.564 with 19 home runs and a 17.6 percent strikeout rate in 95 games in the Pacific Coast League. He could get an audition with the rebuilding Nationals down the stretch.

Toro isn't in the Athletics' lineup versus the Giants on Tuesday.

Toro has an OPS of .432 since his return from a hamstring injury. As he continues to try and return to form, he will take a breather Tuesday. Brett Harris has the start at third base and is batting eighth.

The Blue Jays acquired McAdoo from the Pirates on Tuesday in exchange for infielder Isiah Kiner-Falefa (knee), Russell Dorsey of Yahoo Sports reports.

The Pirates sold high on McAdoo, as he was one of the top breakout hitters over the first four months of the minor-league season. He slashed .317/.394/.542 with 14 home runs, 17 steals and a 22.8 percent strikeout rate in 87 games across High-A and Double-A as a 22-year-old. McAdoo has big-time bat speed, but he's a better fantasy prospect than a real-life one, as his defensive home is still in question. He has shown good hands at third base this season, but could also end up at a corner-outfield spot if he loses any mobility.
