Kiner-Falefa went 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI in Wednesday's win over the White Sox.

The 29-year-old utility player fueled the Blue Jays' offense in a 3-1 victory, singling home the game-winning run in the fourth inning and driving home an insurance run in the sixth. Kiner-Falefa has hit safely in eight straight games, batting an even .400 (12-for-30) over that stretch to boost his slash line on the season to .270/.320/.409 with four homers, three steals, 17 runs and 17 RBI in 54 contests. IKF's .729 OPS would be a career high if he can maintain that pace through the summer.

Sim is hitting .207/.261/.313 over 161 plate appearances for High-A Hillsboro.

Sim, taken 148th overall in the 2023 Draft, is adjusting to his first full season of professional baseball and is "working through some things with the hitting coaches," Arizona farm director Shaun Larkin told Steve Gilbert of MLB.com. "In my experience, the first professional season really is the hardest especially for college kids," Larkin said. "They're used to playing three-game series and four games a week. Here it's every night and they're not used to that. It's just a learning process for all of them." Thus far, Kim has maintained a two-position role, playing both first (25 games) and third base (13).

Urias went 2-for-2 with a solo home run, two total runs and two total RBI in a 6-1 win against Boston on Wednesday.

Urias singled home a run in the second inning and tacked on a solo homer in the seventh. The productive output came in a rare start for the infielder, who was in the lineup for just the third time over the Orioles' past eight games. Urias has struggled to gain traction on offense this season, slashing .219/.265/.344 with two homers, five RBI and 11 runs through 68 plate appearances.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Tuesday that Muncy is on a "slow program" due to lingering oblique soreness and isn't currently swinging a bat, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Muncy resumed baseball activities last Tuesday, but his progress has since been slowed by continued soreness in his oblique. The third baseman is already eligible to be activated off the IL, but given Roberts' comments, it doesn't seem like Muncy is on the cusp of returning. He'll almost certainly head out on a minor-league rehab assignment prior to rejoining Los Angeles' lineup.

Ortiz went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, one stolen base and three runs scored in Wednesday's 10-6 win over the Cubs.

Ortiz has drawn a walk in three straight games. His steal Wednesday was his second of the year, which has come on four attempts. The infielder is enjoying a strong first year with the Brewers, slashing .280/.382/.492 with five home runs, 18 RBI, 21 runs scored, nine doubles and two triples over 158 plate appearances. Ortiz got a chance to lead off in Wednesday's game -- the first time he's done so all season -- after batting no higher than fifth over the last week.

Senzel was removed from Wednesday's win over Atlanta after fouling a ball off his right knee in the second inning, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

The 28-year-old initially remained in the game to finish off his at-bat, drawing a walk before Ildemaro Vargas entered as a pinch runner. All imaging done on Senzel's knee came back negative after the game, per Bobby Blanco of MASNSports.com, and the Nationals are hoping the 28-year-old will be able to return to the field for Thursday's series finale. However, if he isn't able to play Thursday, Vargas would likely step in as Washington's starting third baseman.

Vierling went 4-for-8 with two home runs, three runs scored and five RBI across both games of Wednesday's doubleheader split with the Pirates.

Getting the start in center field in the opener and at third base in the second contest, Vierling was locked in at the plate no matter where he was stationed on the diamond. The 27-year-old crushed a three-run homer off Jared Jones in the fifth inning of an 8-0 win to kick off the twin bill, then launched a solo shot off Paul Skenes in the sixth inning of a 10-2 loss later in the afternoon. Vierling has four long balls among eight hits over his last three games, boosting his slash line on the season to .289/.320/.503 with seven homers, 22 runs and 28 RBI.

Rays manager Kevin Cash said Caminero, who was placed on the 7-day injured list at Triple-A Durham earlier Wednesday, is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks with a Grade 2 left quadriceps strain, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The 20-year-old suffered the injury during Tuesday's game against Jacksonville and is now likely to be sidelined for at least the next month. Caminero is Tampa Bay's top prospect and has an .811 OPS for the season, though he had just two hits in 28 at-bats in the seven games preceding the injury.

Triple-A Durham placed Caminero on its 7-day injured list Wednesday with a quad strain, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Caminero injured his quad late in Tuesday's game against Jacksonville. He spent time on the IL earlier this season with a left quad strain, though it's not clear if it's the same leg bothering him this time around. Caminero has been in a slump lately with Durham, going 3-for-36 with a 32.5 percent strikeout rate over his last 40 plate appearances.

Short remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals.

Short is on the bench for the third game in a row and has settled into a full-time reserve role after Austin Riley put an end to his to his two-week absence Monday. While Riley missed 13 consecutive games with a left intercostal strain, Short picked up 12 starts at third base during that stretch, with Luke Williams getting the other nod.
