Jace Peterson SS | ARI
Athletics' Jace Peterson: Picks up fifth steal
Peterson went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's 10-1 loss to the Astros.
Peterson went hitless for the fifth time in his last six games, a span in which he's gone 1-for-19, but he was able to make an impact in his one trip on base. The steal was his fifth of the season. He's hitting just .146 (6-for-41) over his last 14 contests, but the Athletics are lacking for more effective options. Peterson has a .194/.291/.285 slash line with three home runs, 12 RBI and 13 runs scored through 165 plate appearances as Oakland's primary third baseman this year.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Stays hot Sunday
McMahon went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, five RBI, three runs scored and a walk in Sunday's 11-10 win over the Mets.
McMahon has homered in three straight games to close out the Rockies' current homestand, and he's knocked in 10 runs over his last six contests. The power surge has added 72 points to his slugging percentage since Wednesday. He's at a .238/.321/.443 slash line with seven homers, 28 RBI, 27 runs scored and four stolen bases over 52 games this season, and the vast majority of his damage has been done at Coors Field -- he has a .934 OPS at home but a .582 mark on the road.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Slated to return Monday
Lewis (knee) will be reinstated from the 60-day injured list Monday, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.
Lewis tore his ACL in June of 2022 and was forced to begin the season on the 60-day IL, but he began a rehab assignment in early May and will return from the IL when first eligible. Over 10 rehab games between Double-A Wichita and Triple-A St. Paul, he slashed .333/.395/.692 with four homers, two doubles, 11 RBI, 10 runs and four steals.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Getting MRI
Muncy said after Sunday's 11-10 loss to the Rays that he will undergo an MRI on his left hamstring Monday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
Though the Dodgers described Muncy's injury as a left hamstring cramp when he was removed in the bottom of the third inning, he'll still undergo imaging as the team looks to confirm that he's avoided a strain. Muncy, who went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run before exiting the contest, picked up the injury while running the bases in the top of the third. Even if the MRI yields good news, it wouldn't be surprising if Muncy sat out Monday's game against the Nationals for precautionary purposes.

Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Rays' Isaac Paredes: Drives in four Sunday
Paredes went 3-for-5 with a double, a homer, four RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 11-10 victory over the Dodgers.
Paredes opened the scoring Sunday with a first-inning RBI single. He notched two more RBI with a double in the second before adding a solo homer off Phil Bickford in the fourth. Paredes has gone 17-for-49 with four home runs and 16 RBI in his last 15 games. He's now slashing .282/.354/.491 with eight homers, 37 RBI and 27 runs scored through 181 plate appearances this season.

Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Returns to lineup Sunday
Devers (calf) will start at third base and bat second in Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.
Devers was idle for the first two games of the series in Arizona while battling a sore left calf, but after he was able to run on the field without issue Sunday, he'll be cleared to enter the lineup for the finale. In his return to action, Devers will be looking to put an end to a 2-for-19 skid at the plate over his last five starts before he hit the bench with the injury.

Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW
Rockies' Mike Moustakas: Passed over for first-base starts
Moustakas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets, Patrick Lyons of TheDNVR.com reports.
Moustakas finds himself on the bench for a fourth consecutive game and looks as though he'll remain relegated to a reserve role even while C.J. Cron (back) is without a definitive timeline to return from the 10-day injured list. Nolan Jones will receive his third straight at first base and appears set to serve as Cron's primary replacement.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Suffers hamstring cramp
The Dodgers announced that Muncy's removal in the bottom of the third inning of Sunday's game against the Rays was due to a left hamstring cramp.
Muncy suffered the injury while running the bases in the top of the third, and though he was initially able to stay in the game, James Outman came off the bench to replace Muncy when the Dodgers returned to the field for defense in the bottom of the frame. Before departing, Muncy delivered the goods for fantasy managers, going 1-for-2 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run. So long as follow-up tests on his hamstring don't reveal any sort of strain, Muncy could conceivably return to the lineup for the Dodgers' next game Monday versus the Nationals.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Exits with apparent injury
Muncy left Sunday's game against the Rays after suffering an apparent injury in the top of the third inning, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports. He went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored before leaving the contest.
Muncy was seen limping around while running the bases, and while he was initially able to stay in the game, he wasn't able to stay in the game when the Dodgers returned to the field in the bottom of the third. The Dodgers should provide an update on the hot-hitting Muncy later Sunday, but for now, he can be viewed as day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener with the Nationals.

Brett Baty 3B | NYM
Mets' Brett Baty: Gets Sunday off
Baty is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.
Baty will take a break Sunday after going 3-for-9 with a pair of runs driven in over the first two games of the series. Mark Vientos will get the start at third base and hit fifth in Baty's absence.
