Blaze Jordan 3B | STL
Cardinals' Blaze Jordan: Added to big-league roster
The Cardinals selected Jordan's contract from Triple-A Memphis on Friday, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Jordan earned his first big-league promotion by slashing .313/.373/.548 with 11 home runs and a 19:29 BB:K over 57 games with Memphis. The 23-year-old has split time between first and third base at Memphis, and there's a clear opening at the hot corner in St. Louis that Jordan could fill. Jordan is starting at third base and batting eighth Friday in Minnesota in his major-league debut.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Cubs' Alex Bregman: Goes deep at Coors Field
Bregman went 1-for-4 with a walk, a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Thursday's 9-3 win over the Rockies.
Bregman enjoyed the thin Colorado air as he blasted his sixth home run of the season in the seventh inning. The Chicago third baseman came into the contest batting just .138 this month, and it's been a down campaign overall in his first year with the Cubs, as he has a .685 OPS through 310 plate appearances. Bregman has played in 68 of the team's 69 games, however, and he should continue to see ample playing time as he looks to build some momentum for the stretch run.

Colt Keith 3B | DET
Tigers' Colt Keith: Blasts first 2026 home run
Keith went 2-for-4 with a home run, an additional run scored and three total RBI in Thursday's 11-0 win over the Twins. He also stole a base.
Keith had an RBI single in the fourth inning, then went deep with a runner on in the sixth for his first home run of the season. The 24-year-old snapped a mini 0-for-8 slump over his previous three games, and he's now batting .262 with a .647 OPS across 63 contests this year. Keith is making good enough contact at the plate, though the limited power output has kept his OPS down so far.

Colt Emerson 3B | SEA
Mariners' Colt Emerson: Returning to Seattle lineup
Emerson (back) will start at shortstop and bat ninth in Thursday's contest in Baltimore.
Emerson was held out of the Mariners' lineup for each of the previous three contests as be battled back spasms, but he's feeling well enough to give it a go in Thursday's series finale. The rookie infielder is sporting an elevated 30.4 percent strikeout rate in his first 19 major-league games but has gone deep four times.

Alec Bohm 3B | PHI
Phillies' Alec Bohm: Strong stretch continues
Bohm went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 7-4 win over Toronto.
After a brutal start to the season, Bohm has turned it around at the dish. Since the start of May, the third baseman is batting 37-for-129 (.287) with seven home runs, six doubles and 21 RBI. For the year, Bohm is slashing .226/.283/.366 with eight long balls, nine doubles and 34 RBI over 258 plate appearances.

Shay Whitcomb 3B | HOU
Astros' Shay Whitcomb: Optioned back to minors
The Astros optioned Whitcomb to Triple-A Sugar Land on Thursday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Whitcomb homered in Wednesday's extra-innings loss to the Angels but finds himself back in the minors a day later. The Astros are off Thursday, so they will likely announce a corresponding roster move prior to Friday's game in Kansas City.

Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Giants' Matt Chapman: Goes yard twice in comeback win
Chapman went 4-for-5 with a double, two home runs, an additional run scored and three total RBI in Wednesday's 11-10 win over the Nationals.
The veteran third baseman launched solo shots off Foster Griffin in the sixth inning and Paxton Schultz to lead off the eighth, with the latter blast sparking a stunning rally from an eight-run deficit for the Giants. Chapman's bat has heated up with the weather, and while he has just six homers on the season, five of them have come in June. He's slashing a massive .469/.548/1.000 to begin the month, with 18 RBI in only 10 games.
