Bride isn't starting Wednesday against the Angels.

Bride has hit .204 with a homer, 17 runs, six RBI and a stolen base over 58 major-league games this year and will remain on the bench for a third consecutive matchup to close out the regular season. Chad Pinder will step in at the hot corner and bat sixth.

Peraza went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a second run scored and a stolen base in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Rangers.

The 22-year-old couldn't follow up the big performance, going 0-for-4 in the nightcap, but Peraza still picked up his first career homer in the big leagues and his second steal. He's looked good in his first taste of the majors, slashing .319/.396/.447 through his first 53 plate appearances, and he may be earning a spot on the Yankees' playoff roster.

Anderson is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against Atlanta.

Anderson will head to the bench for the second time in three games to close out the season. The 29-year-old entered Wednesday's contest with a .657 OPS, the lowest mark of his six-year big-league career.

Chapman isn't starting the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Orioles.

Chapman was scheduled to get a day off for Tuesday's matchup before the game was postponed, and he'll instead sit for Wednesday's matinee. Cavan Biggio is starting at the hot corner and batting fifth.

Toro went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and two additional RBI during a 9-6 victory in Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader.

Toro took Detroit pitcher Elvin Rodriguez deep in the fourth before adding a two-run single the next inning to give Seattle the lead for good. The long ball was the 25-year-old's first since Aug. 31 as he'd batted just 6-for-44 with two doubles and two walks during the 18-game drought.

Miranda was diagnosed with a lip/mouth contusion after being hit by a pitch Tuesday against the White Sox, Megan Ryan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

The 24-year-old had the pitch ricochet off his left hand before it struck him in the face, and it appears he's avoided a serious injury. Miranda should be considered day-to-day, and it's unclear if he'll be available Wednesday for the final game of the regular season.

Vargas is out of the lineup for Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader versus the Mets, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Vargas went 0-for-4 during the matinee and will step out of the starting nine for Game 2. Cesar Hernandez will move to the hot corner while Josh Palacios starts in left field.
