Elias Diaz C | KC
Rockies' Elias Diaz: Not starting Tuesday
Diaz is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Giants.
Diaz started the past two games and went 1-for-4 with two RBI in each contest, but he'll receive the day off Tuesday. Tony Wolters takes over behind the plate for Colorado.

J.T. Realmuto C | PHI
Phillies' J.T. Realmuto: Remains in lineup for nightcap
Realmuto will bat cleanup as the designated hitter in the second half of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Nationals.
Previous reports indicated that Realmuto wouldn't be asked to play twice on one day immediately after returning from a nine-day absence with a hip injury. The Phillies' loss in the afternoon game appears to have given them a sense of urgency, however, so they'll push the star catcher to his limits Tuesday with their playoff hopes very much up in the air.

Chadwick Tromp C | ATL
Giants' Chadwick Tromp: Done for season
Tromp was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a strained right shoulder, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Tromp was scratched with Monday's lineup with the injury, which proved to be serious enough to end his regular season prematurely. He'll finish his rookie campaign with a .213/.219/.426 slash line in 64 plate appearances. The Giants have yet to announce which catcher they'll call up to back up Joey Bart.

Victor Caratini C | MIN
Cubs' Victor Caratini: On bench Tuesday
Caratini is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Pirates.
Caratini has been in the majority of the Cubs' lineups this season, getting the nod in 33 out of 55 games, but his role appears to be slipping of late. He's been on the bench in four of the last six games. A loss of playing time shouldn't be a big surprise given that he's hitting just .240/.331/.308 on the year. Willson Contreras will be the catcher Tuesday, with Jose Martinez serving as the designated hitter.

Tucker Barnhart C | TEX
Reds' Tucker Barnhart: Day off Tuesday
Barnhart is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Brewers.
Barnhart finds himself on the bench for the second game in a row. Curt Casali remains the starter behind the plate, with fellow catcher Tyler Stephenson also in the lineup as a designated hitter.

J.T. Realmuto C | PHI
Phillies' J.T. Realmuto: Returns to lineup
Realmuto (hip) will catch the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Nationals, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Realmuto will wind up missing nine days with hip discomfort but will be able to help the Phillies out in the tense final days of the playoff race. Whether or not he's able to handle his typically heavy workload immediately after returning from injury remains to be seen. He isn't expected to play a role in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader, even as a designated hitter.

Curt Casali C | ATL
Reds' Curt Casali: Hits sixth homer
Casali went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's 6-3 win over Milwaukee.
Casali extended Cincinnati's lead to 3-1 with his long ball off Drew Rasmussen in the eighth. The backstop has hit .224/.373/.522 to go along with six homers and eight RBI while backing up Tucker Barnhart this season.

Chadwick Tromp C | ATL
Giants' Chadwick Tromp: Scratched with possible injury
Tromp was scratched from Monday's lineup against the Rockies due to a suspected shoulder injury, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
According to Guardado, Tromp appeared to jam his shoulder sliding back into first base during Sunday's game in Oakland. He'll be considered day-to-day until more information is released. Joey Bart will check in behind the plate Monday in Tromp's stead.
