Danny Jansen C | TEX
Blue Jays' Danny Jansen: Sits after four straight starts
Jansen is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.
Though Jansen is on the bench Wednesday, he started at either catcher or designated hitter in each of the previous four games and appears to be moving into a quasi-everyday role. With the lefty-hitting Brandon Belt having now hit the bench in two straight matchups against right-handed pitching, Jansen could end up seeing the bulk of the work behind the plate, which would allow Alejandro Kirk to serve mainly as a DH.

Rogers is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets.
Rogers will get a breather after he caught all nine innings and went 0-for-3 at the plate in the opening game of the day. Eric Haase, who served as the Tigers' designated hitter in Game 1, will step in behind the dish for the nightcap.

Gabriel Moreno C | ARI
Diamondbacks' Gabriel Moreno: Resting Wednesday
Moreno is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rangers.
The Diamondbacks are wrapping up their two-game set in Texas with a day game, so Moreno will get a breather after he caught all eight innings of Tuesday's 6-4 loss. Jose Herrera replaces Moreno behind the dish.
