Stephenson is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Padres.
After catching in both of the past two days, Stephenson will get a breather Thursday as the Reds and Padres wrap up their series with an afternoon game. Luke Maile will replace Stephenson as the Reds' starting catcher.

Pirates' Yasmani Grandal: Held out again
Grandal (groin) remains out of the lineup for Thursday's contest versus the Giants, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Grandal will miss a second straight start after exiting Tuesday's 7-6 win with left groin soreness. Joey Bart will handle the catching duties in place of Grandal, who is considered day-to-day.

Raleigh is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Yankees.
Raleigh started the first three games of the series against the Yankees and hit a home run in Wednesday's 7-3 loss, but he'll get a breather for Thursday's afternoon tilt. Seby Zavala will draw the start at catcher.

Padres' Luis Campusano: Sitting Thursday
Campusano is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Reds.
Campusano will rest for the Thursday afternoon game after he started behind the plate Tuesday and Wednesday while going 1-for-7 with a run scored. Kyle Higashioka will draw the start at catcher and will form a battery with right-hander Matt Waldron.

Giants' Patrick Bailey: Getting rest Thursday
Bailey is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Pirates.
Though he returned from the 7-day injured list Tuesday after recovering from a concussion, Bailey didn't rejoin the lineup until the Giants' 9-5 win Wednesday, when he started behind the dish and went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs and an RBI. Bailey should see the bulk of the starts behind the dish moving forward, but he'll cede catching duties to Curt Casali as the Giants and Pirates wrap up their series with a day game after a night game.

Rockies' Elias Diaz: Another three-hit performance
Diaz went 3-for-5 with a double and a two-run homer in Wednesday's win over the Athletics.
Diaz jumped on a hanging slider from Mitch Spence in the first inning and crushed it over the wall in center field to give the Rockies an early 2-0 lead. The catcher would then add a single and a double in his next two at-bats, giving him his second-consecutive three-hit performance. Diaz has been on a tear in May, batting .370 with two homers, nine RBI and five runs scored while also posting eight multi-hit games.
