Stanton isn't starting Wednesday against the Angels.

Stanton will get a rare day off after he went 5-for-11 with a home run, four RBI and a strikeout across the last three games. Aaron Judge will shift to right field while Brett Gardner starts in center.

Ohtani (hand/wrist) threw a bullpen session Wednesday, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

Ohtani was unable to start as a pitcher Tuesday after he was hit by a pitch on his right hand/wrist. However, he's remained in the lineup as a designated hitter, and he hit his 42nd home run of the season Monday. He tentatively lines up to start Saturday's game at home against the Rangers as a pitcher, but more clarity regarding his status will likely be revealed based on how he feels after Wednesday's throwing session.

Ramirez (knee) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Wednesday.

Ramirez recently made four rehab appearances at High-A Lake County and went 4-for-13 with a solo home run and a strikeout. The 26-year-old spent just under three weeks on the shelf but is starting in left field and batting sixth in his return to the lineup against the Royals on Wednesday.

Ohtani went 0-for-2 with two walks, two stolen bases and two runs scored in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Yankees.

Ohtani didn't get any hits Tuesday, but he reached twice via walk and made an impact with his baserunning by swiping second in the fourth inning and stealing home in the fifth. The 26-year-old is now tied for sixth in all of baseball with 22 steals. In addition, he still leads MLB with 42 homers and is seventh with 90 RBI.

Lewis (knee) ran the bases Tuesday, Corey Brock of The Athletic reports.

Lewis was previously closing in on beginning a rehab assignment, but those plans were put on hold after he experienced general body soreness following a recent workout. It's still not clear when he could go to the minors for live game action, but his ability to run the bases Tuesday is a sign that the previous soreness has subsided. Lewis will need to get several games under his belt in the minors before being activated, but if he begins a rehab stint in the next couple of days, he should have a chance to return to the Mariners' roster by the second week of September.

Brantley is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mariners, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

After a 1-for-5 performance Monday, Brantley's hitting .231 with five RBI but no extra-base hits in his last 10 games. Aledmys Diaz is playing left field and batting second Tuesday.

Choi (hamstring) fielded groundballs on the field Tuesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Choi has been out for a week with a left hamstring strain. While it's a positive that he's making progress, he isn't considered close to activation, which likely means he'll wind up missing more than the minimum 10 days.

Torrens is not in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Astros.

Torrens is in the midst of a strong seven-game stretch at the plate in which he's gone 8-for-25 with four doubles, seven RBI, four walks and one run scored. He'll get a breather Tuesday as Mitch Haniger shifts to DH.

Ohtani (hand) went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's game 8-7 win over the Yankees.

Ohtani crushed his league-leading 42nd homer off former teammate Andrew Heaney in the fifth inning to put the Angels back in front, 6-5. The solo blast allowed Ohtani to hit the 90-RBI mark, good for sixth-most in baseball. The 26-year-old is now slashing .264/.362/.626 and has 86 runs scored, 20 steals and 67:159 BB:K over 516 plate appearances. The question now remains when he'll be able to make his next start as a pitcher after he was scratched from his scheduled turn through the rotation Tuesday while he manages a sore right wrist. While X-rays came back negative after he was struck by a pitch Saturday, the Angels surely won't take any risks with Ohtani in September if he's less than fully healthy. The injury doesn't look to be anything that would result in him being shut down as the Angels' everyday designated hitter, however.

Stanton went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Monday's 8-7 loss to the Angels.

Stanton has been on a power surge as of late with five home runs in his last seven games. His homer Monday was a two-run blast that traveled 457 feet to tie the game in the seventh inning. Stanton has hit safely in 21 of his last 25 games and is slashing .341/.417/.681 over that span. For the year, the 31-year-old has hit 25 home runs and is slashing .271/.366/.497 with 70 RBI, 52 runs scored and 57:124 BB:K over 459 plate appearances.
