Winker went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and two RBI in Tuesday's 8-2 win over the Athletics.

Winker contributed an RBI double in the sixth inning and a solo shot in the seventh as the Mariners took control of the game. The outfielder had gone just 1-for-10 across his last five contests before Tuesday's two-hit effort. The homer was his third in June and his fifth of the season to go with a .214/.332/.319 slash line, 26 RBI, 21 runs scored and 10 doubles in 67 games. With Dylan Moore and Justin Upton challenging for playing time, Winker could find himself on the bench against southpaws more frequently going forward -- he sat out against two of the three lefties the Mariners faced over the weekend against the Angels.

Alvarez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Tuesday's 8-2 win over the Mets.

Alvarez missed one game with the hand injury, but it didn't appear to be much of a factor Tuesday. His third-inning blast ultimately gave the Astros enough offense to win. The slugger is up to 19 homers, 49 RBI, 43 runs scored, eight doubles and two triples through 252 plate appearances while maintaining a fantastic .312/405/.633 slash line.

Cabrera went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday's loss to the Red Sox.

Cabrera continues to be mostly a singles hitter, as all three hits Tuesday were of the one-base variety. For the season, only 10 of the veteran's 63 total hits have gone for extra bases. Still, it's hard to complain about a .300 average during someone's age-39 season, which is where Cabrera is at right now. He's a steady if unspectacular presence in the Detroit lineup.

Miller is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Phillies.

Even though a right-hander (Kyle Gibson) is on the mound for the Phillies, the lefty-hitting Miller will find himself on the bench Tuesday and may have to settle for infrequent starts moving forward. Mitch Garver (illness) was reinstated from the COVID-19-related injured list Tuesday, and he'll likely occupy the designated-hitter spot in most games moving forward to close off a potential avenue to playing time for Miller. Though Miller still has the ability to pick up at-bats at either corner-infield or corner-outfield spot, the quartet of Nathaniel Lowe, Josh H. Smith, Adolis Garcia and Kole Calhoun are likely to fill out those four positions against right-handed pitching more often than not.

Harper (hand) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers.

A UCL sprain in his throwing elbow has prevented Harper from playing in the outfield since April 16, but it's an infected blister on his left hand that will keep him from serving as the Phillies' designated hitter for the fourth game in a row. Alec Bohm will instead handle DH duties Tuesday while Harper receives additional maintenance coming out of Monday's team off day. Harper is feeling better after recently receiving an antibiotic treatment for the infection and was able to hit in the cage, per Todd Zolecki of MLB.com. The slugger is also expected to be available off the bench to pinch hit Tuesday.

The Guardians reinstated Reyes (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday. He'll serve as Cleveland's designated hitter and No. 6 hitter in the club's series opener in Minnesota.

Reyes proved his health last week by appearing in five games and even seeing some work in the outfield during his rehab assignment with Triple-A Columbus. The 26-year-old was dialed in at the plate while at Columbus, going 9-for-21 with three extra-base hits and six RBI. The Guardians will hope that Reyes will be able to carry that form over to the big leagues after he had struggled mightily before being sidelined with the right hamstring injury. Over 145 plate appearances with Cleveland this season, Reyes is slashing .195/.255/.278 with a career-worst 39.3 percent strikeout rate and .083 ISO.

Alvarez (hand) will serve as Houston's designated hitter and cleanup batter in Tuesday's game against the Mets.

Though manager Dusty Baker was evasive over the weekend when asked about why Alvarez was out of the lineup for Sunday's 4-3 win over the White Sox, the slugger looks like he's good to go for the series opener against the Mets coming out of Monday's off day. Even after seeing a five-game RBI streak come to an end with an 0-for-3 day at the plate in his last start Saturday, Alvarez maintains a lofty 1.026 OPS coming into Tuesday's contest.

Choi will sit Tuesday against the Yankees, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Choi has started just once all season against a southpaw and won't get to double that total here against Nestor Cortes. Isaac Paredes will take over at first base.

Vogelbach went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, two RBI and three runs scored Monday against the Cubs.

Vogelbach delivered a two-RBI double in the bottom of the seventh inning to extend Pittsburgh's lead to 9-1. He also scored each time he reached base, marking the third time in his last five starts that he has scored multiple runs. Despite a multitude of recent prospect promotions, Vogelbach has remained the Pirates' primary designated hitter. However, he is hitting just .217/.299/.410 across 187 plate appearances on the season.

Madris went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI, one run scored and a steal in Monday's 12-1 win over the Cubs.

The 26-year-old's promotion was a bit overshadowed by Oneil Cruz's but both rookies looked terrific in their season debuts. Madris ripped a two-run single and swiped second base in the second inning. He then doubled in the sixth and finished his big day by singling and scoring in the seventh. Madris' role at the MLB level is still unclear but a hot bat could earn him more playing time.
