Blackmon went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI on Wednesday against the Giants.

Blackmon recorded an extra-base hit for the third consecutive game, though his RBI came on a single in the third frame. Across his last 12 games, Blackmon is hitting .340 with three homers, 12 RBI and five runs scored. While plenty of that production has come at Coors Field, the Rockies have been on the road for five contests in that span. Overall, Blackmon is hitting .251/.313/.437 across 221 plate appearances on the season.

Ramirez is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's contest versus the Cardinals, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Ramirez will take a seat after he went 1-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs in Wednesday's victory. Randy Arozarena will slot in at designated hitter while Brett Phillips enters the lineup in right field.

Ramirez joined in the Rays' offensive barrage Wednesday by delivering an RBI double in the second inning and later grounding into a fielder's choice to drive in a run. He endured a cold stretch in late May, but Ramirez now has at least one hit in five of his last six appearances. In that span, he also has five RBI and five runs scored with a stolen base. Overall, Ramirez is hitting .284/.324/.381 across 145 plate appearances on the season.

Choi went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and three runs scored Wednesday against the Cardinals.

Choi was in the lineup for the first time this season with a southpaw on the mound. Three of his at-bats came without the handedness advantage, but Choi delivered a knock on each occasion. It's doubtful that the performance will change Choi's role in the long term. However, he is riding an eight-game hitting streak while delivering eight RBI and six runs scored in the span. Overall, Choi is hitting .276/.368/.463 with four home runs, 27 RBI and 17 runs scored across 144 plate appearances.

Harper went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 10-0 victory over the Brewers.

Harper went deep for a three-run shot off Luke Barker with two outs in the ninth inning, driving in Bryson Stott and Kyle Schwarber. The homer was his 14th of the year and his fourth in the last five games. Since the beginning of May, Harper has batted .345 with 11 home runs, 30 RBI, 23 runs and three stolen bases over 113 at-bats in 29 games.

Buxton went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two runs in Wednesday's win over the Yankees.

Buxton singled and scored in the bottom of the fourth frame before launching a solo shot off Nestor Cortes in the following inning. The homer was his 13th of the season and second in his last four contests. The outfielder has notched at least one hit in nine of his last 11 contests, raising his average from .202 to .224 over that stretch while adding two homers, three RBI and six runs. After a very difficult first two months at the plate, Buxton could be turning a corner.

Reyes (hamstring) took batting practice on the field Wednesday prior to the Guardians' game against the Rangers, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Reyes looks to be progressing from the right hamstring injury that has kept him on the shelf since May 26, but the Guardians haven't yet offered up a target date for the 26-year-old's return to the lineup. According to Ryan Lewis of the Akron Beacon Journal, the Guardians plan to meet with Reyes on Friday to decide his next steps, so more clarity on his situation could come over the weekend.

Carpenter is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Minnesota, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

Carpenter started in six of his first eight games with the Yankees after signing with the team May 26, but he'll find himself on the bench for the fourth game in a row. The Yankees don't have an everyday role available for him now that Giancarlo Stanton and Josh Donaldson have recently returned from the injured list, so Carpenter will have to settle for the occasional spot start or pinch-hitting opportunity moving forward.

Lewis (concussion) has begun working on his conditioning by ramping up his heart rate on a stationary bike, but he remains without a firm return date, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

The uptick in activity is encouraging considering he's been experiencing prolonged concussion symptoms. However, Lewis has yet to resume any baseball activities, a step he'll naturally have to complete before activation is considered. Lewis is scheduled to be reassessed when the Mariners return home for a weekend series against the Red Sox.

Morel went 2-for-5 with a home run, a triple and two RBI in Tuesday's 9-3 loss to the Orioles.

The Cubs are now 10 games under .500 after suffering their third consecutive loss Tuesday, but Morel continues to be a revelation in as the club veers toward a second straight non-contending season. Morel has turned in multi-hit efforts in three of his last four starts to bring his season average up to .298.
