Robert Stephenson RP | LAA
Angels' Robert Stephenson: Considered day-to-day
Manager Ron Washington said after Friday's game against Cleveland that he expects Stephenson to be fine after Stephenson exited with a biceps injury, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Stephenson didn't seem to be too concerned about his injury either, per Fletcher, saying that the issue is in the middle of his biceps rather than near his surgically repaired elbow. He'll attempt to do some throwing Saturday, at which point we may know more about his availability going forward.

Angels' Robert Stephenson: Exits after three pitches
Stephenson was removed from Friday's game against the Guardians with right biceps discomfort.
In his second appearance since returning from Tommy John surgery, Stephenson had to come out of the game after throwing only three pitches. The good news is that his latest injury isn't related to his surgically repaired elbow, but there's still no telling if he'll need to spend even more time on the injured list because of his biceps.

Felix Bautista RP | BAL
Orioles' Felix Bautista: Earns ninth save
Bautista earned the save in Friday's 2-1 win over the White Sox, allowing one run on two hits and one walk with two strikeouts in the ninth inning.
Bautista yielded two doubles and needed 29 pitches to escape the ninth inning with a save. The 29-year-old has now allowed runs in five of his last 10 appearances and continues to search for consistent command following his lost 2024 season. On the year, he has converted nine of 10 save chances while posting a 4.08 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 21:12 K:BB across 17.2 innings.

Albert Suarez RP | BAL
Orioles' Albert Suarez: Extends throwing distance
Suarez (shoulder) extended his throwing distance off flat ground to 105 feet Friday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
Suarez started up his throwing program earlier in May and is now extending his distance, and he could progress to bullpen sessions in the near future. The right-hander landed on the shelf with a shoulder strain after his season debut March 28, and he'll likely require multiple rehab appearances in the minors once cleared for game action.

Nick Burdi RP | NYM
Red Sox's Nick Burdi: Rejoins MLB club
The Red Sox recalled Burdi from Triple-A Worcester on Friday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.
The right-hander will join the Red Sox ahead of Friday's series opener in Atlanta with Liam Hendriks (hip) headed to the injured list. Burdi has allowed four hits over 2.1 scoreless frames in his two big-league appearances this season and should fill a low-leverage relief role while up with Boston.

Liam Hendriks RP | MIN
Red Sox's Liam Hendriks: To IL with hip injury
Hendriks was placed on the 15-day injured list Friday with right hip inflammation, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.
Hendriks has reportedly been pitching through this issue in recent weeks while logging a 19.64 ERA and 2.18 WHIP over his last five appearances. The move is retroactive to May 28, so Hendriks will be eligible to return June 13 against the Yankees.

Lucas Erceg RP | KC
Royals' Lucas Erceg: To IL with back injury
Erceg was placed on the 15-day injured list Friday with a lower-back strain.
The most recent news was that Erceg was unavailable due to illness, but this back issue is likely the main reason he hasn't pitched since May 24. His IL placement is retroactive to May 27, so he could return June 12 against the Yankees if he misses the minimum amount of time.

Cody Poteet RP | BAL
Orioles' Cody Poteet: Moves to 60-day IL
The Orioles transferred Poteet (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Friday.
The right-hander has been on the shelf since late April due to shoulder inflammation, and he'll remain sidelined for at least a few more weeks. Poteet surrendered five runs over 2.2 frames in his lone outing for Baltimore before landing on the IL.

Miguel Castro RP | CHW
White Sox's Miguel Castro: Moves to injured list
The White Sox placed Castro on the 15-day injured list Friday due to a torn patellar tendon in his right knee.
Castro suffered the injury during Wednesday's game against the Mets and is set to miss the rest of the season, and it's unclear if he'll be ready for the start of the 2026 campaign. The right-hander will likely be shifted to the 60-day IL once Chicago needs an opening on the 40-man roster.

Dan Altavilla RP | MIN
White Sox's Dan Altavilla: Back with White Sox
Altavilla agreed to a one-year, $1 million contract with the White Sox on Friday.
The veteran right-hander was released from his minor-league contract with the White Sox last weekend, but he's now back with the club on a major-league deal. Altavilla pitched well for Triple-A Charlotte with a 2.49 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 18:10 K:BB across 21.2 innings.
