Uceta was recalled by the Dodgers on Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Uceta has bounced between the majors and Triple-A Oklahoma City throughout the season, throwing exactly 20.1 innings at both levels. He hasn't been good at either location, posting a 6.20 ERA in Triple-A and a 6.64 ERA in the majors, so he'll likely be limited to low-leverage innings while he remains with the team. Andre Jackson was optioned in a corresponding move.

Gallegos secured his 22nd hold in a win over the Pirates on Friday despite allowing an earned run on three hits over one inning.

Gallegos created some trouble for himself by allowing a run on a Colin Moran single before recording an out. However, he bounced back to retire the next two batters and then was blessed with some good fortune when Moran was thrown out at the plate to end the frame. The right-hander did see a six-appearance scoreless streak snapped with Friday's stumble, but he still sports a 3.11 ERA and 0.90 WHIP alongside a 10.2 K/9 and a career-high holds tally.

Padres manager Jayce Tingler said Weathers would start Saturday's game against the Angels, 97.3 The Fan San Diego reports.

In his last appearance Aug. 22 against the Phillies, Weathers worked behind opener Craig Stammen. The rookie didn't take well to the primary-pitcher role, covering two innings while giving up three runs on five hits to inflate his ERA to 5.27. After starting the season on a promising note, Weathers has faded badly since the beginning of June, and the Padres' mounting list of injured starting pitchers is likely the only thing keeping him in the rotation at this point. He could end up moving to the bullpen once the likes of Chris Paddack (oblique), Dinelson Lamet (hip/forearm) and Jake Arrieta (hamstring) start returning from the injured list.

De Los Santos (1-1) allowed two runs (one earned) on a hit and a walk while striking out one in two innings to earn the win over the Diamondbacks on Friday.

De Los Santos entered Friday's contest in the 10th inning and gave up a pair of runs in the frame, but he remained in the game for the 11th inning and held Arizona scoreless. The right-hander has been shuffled between the Phillies and the Triple-A club recently but has recorded a 2.16 ERA and 1.20 WHIP in 8.1 innings across seven relief appearances since the beginning of August.

Clarke (1-1) allowed an unearned run on two hits and no walks in a third of an inning to take the loss against the Phillies on Friday.

Clarke forced a fielder's choice to begin the 11th inning Friday, but he gave up a pair of singles and was charged with his first loss of the season as a result. The right-hander has made 10 relief appearances since he was reinstated from the 10-day injured list in early August, and he's recorded an 8.22 ERA and 2.22 WHIP in 7.2 innings during that time.

Finnegan walked one in a scoreless ninth inning Friday to record his sixth save of the season in a 2-1 win over the Mets.

He only tossed five of 11 pitches for strikes, but Finnegan coaxed a game-ending double play grounder out of Javier Baez to erase his free pass. The right-hander has only blown one save since inheriting the closer role from Brad Hand, but Finnegan's 0.75 ERA in 12 innings over that stretch isn't supported by his 1.17 WHIP or 7:5 K:BB.

Jackson (0-1) was tagged with the loss Friday against the Rockies despite allowing only one run on four hits and two walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out two.

Jackson's string of eight straight scoreless innings to begin his big-league career came to an end when C.J. Cron belted a homer to left leading off the sixth frame, and that was enough to send the rookie hurler to his first MLB loss. Nonetheless, it was another impressive outing for the right-hander, who threw 49 of 77 pitches for strikes and didn't allow any additional extra-base hits. Jackson has now allowed just one run over his first 8.2 big-league frames, but it's unclear how he'll be used going forward or if he'll remain on the active roster.

Estevez earned the save against the Dodgers on Friday, pitching a scoreless ninth inning during which he gave up one hit and struck out three batters.

The right-hander entered the contest with two saves on the campaign, but his last save conversion had come way back on May 24 against the Mets. Estevez allowed a leadoff single to Mookie Betts on Friday but proceeded to strike out the next three batters to slam the door on Los Angeles. Daniel Bard, who has been the Rockies' closer for most of the campaign but has struggled of late, pitched the eighth inning, suggesting that he may have lost hold of the team's ninth-inning role. If that is the case, Estevez figures to be first in line for save chances as he now has three of Colorado's non-Bard saves this season.

Thompson allowed five runs (four earned) on five hits and two walks with one strikeout in two-plus innings versus the White Sox on Friday. He did not factor in the decision.

The Cubs took a 6-0 lead in the top of the first, but Thompson was unable to maintain the lead. He wasn't responsible for the White Sox's go-ahead run in the third inning, but the right-hander can still shoulder a share of the blame for the team's defeat. It was by far the worst appearance of the season for Thompson, who saw his ERA tick up to 3.09 with a 1.41 WHIP and 45:26 K:BB through 46.2 innings. He's mainly worked as a reliever at the major-league level, but he could get a more favorable matchup versus the Pirates next week if he gets another turn in the rotation after Friday's disaster.

Littell allowed a run on one hit in 1.2 innings, taking a blown save in Friday's 6-5 loss to Atlanta.

The right-hander allowed two inherited runners from Tony Watson to score on a Jorge Soler in the seventh inning. Littell has allowed runs in back-to-back appearances after starting August with an 8.2-inning scoreless streak. He has a 2.93 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 37:19 K:BB through 46 innings overall, while adding two saves and five holds in a versatile role.
