Jason Foley RP | SF
Giants' Jason Foley: Tosses scoreless inning Sunday
Foley struck out one in a scoreless inning during Sunday's 13-7 loss to the Rockies.
Foley entered the game in the ninth inning and threw five of his 11 pitches for strikes en route to his second straight scoreless outing. The 30-year-old right-hander has appeared in six games this month, during which he has posted a 3.38 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 4:4 K:BB in 5.1 innings. Overall, he owns a 4.66 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 6:5 K:BB across 9.2 innings this season.

Kent Emanuel SP | CIN
Reds' Kent Emanuel: Added to roster for spot start
The Reds selected Emanuel's contract from Triple-A Louisville on Monday.
Emanuel was pitching in independent ball a couple weeks ago when the Reds signed him to a minor-league contract. He struck out eight over six innings of one-run ball in his lone start with Louisville, and the 34-year-old southpaw will now join the Reds to make a start in the first game of Monday's doubleheader against the Cardinals. The start is the first of Emanuel's big-league career, after his first 22 appearances in the majors came in relief.

Ron Marinaccio RP | CIN
Reds' Ron Marinaccio: Scrubbed from 40-man roster
The Reds designated Marinaccio for assignment Monday.
Marinaccio was scooped up off waivers earlier this month and is now headed back to the waiver wire after getting roughed up for 10 runs over 5.1 innings covering four appearances for Cincinnati. His removal from the 40-man roster clears a spot for the arrival of Kent Emanuel.

Zach McCambley RP | CIN
Reds' Zach McCambley: Serving as 27th man
The Reds recalled McCambley from Triple-A Louisville on Monday.
He'll serve as the 27th man on the roster for Monday's doubleheader against the Cardinals. McCambley has logged 7.2 innings across seven appearances for the Reds this season, allowing four runs with a 7:6 K:BB. He will likely be sent back to Louisville following the twin bill.

Tony Santillan RP | CIN
Reds' Tony Santillan: Could be activated this week
Santillan (oblique) could be activated to the major-league roster later this week, Mike Petraglia of MLB.com reports.
Santillan worked a scoreless inning as the opener in Sunday's game and will make at least one more appearance either Tuesday or Wednesday. If all goes well, the right-hander could rejoin the Reds at the end of the week. He's made two scoreless appearances with the Bats, striking out three over two innings.

Brock Stewart RP | LAD
Dodgers' Brock Stewart: Faces hitters Thursday
Stewart (shoulder) threw a simulated inning of live batting practice Thursday, MLB.com reports.
Assuming Stewart checked out fine coming out of Thursday's workout, he could be cleared to report to a minor-league affiliate during the upcoming week to begin a rehab assignment. Before landing on the injured list July 31 due to right shoulder tendinitis, Stewart had logged a 2.45 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 14:5 K:BB while collecting one save and four holds in 14.2 innings out of the Los Angeles bullpen.

Blade Tidwell RP | SF
Giants' Blade Tidwell: Walks five in no-decision
Tidwell allowed six runs on three hits and five walks while striking out one over 4.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Rockies on Sunday.
Tidwell threw just 35 of 63 pitches for strikes in this short start. While he wasn't knocked around that much, the walks proved costly. He had allowed just three runs over 10.2 innings across his first two starts of the year, and it's a little discouraging that this poor showing came at home. Tidwell has a 4.33 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 20:10 K:BB across 27 innings over 11 outings (three starts) this year. He's tentatively lined up to make his next start at Boston.

Raisel Iglesias RP | ATL
Braves' Raisel Iglesias: Hangs on for 25th save
Iglesias earned the save in Sunday's 5-3 win over Arizona despite allowing a run on a hit and a walk in the ninth inning.
Tasked with protecting a three-run lead in the ninth, Iglesias found himself in some trouble after giving up a walk and a single to open the frame. However, the veteran closer managed to hold the Diamondbacks to one run to earn his 25th save this season. Iglesias has been a bit shaky of late, giving up six runs in his last 5.2 innings. Still, he sports a solid 3.15 ERA with a 1.20 WHIP and 49:14 K:BB across 45.2 innings this year.

Carmen Mlodzinski RP | PIT
Pirates' Carmen Mlodzinski: Set for another start
Mlodzinski will start Monday's contest against the Tigers, Dominic Campbell of SI.com reports.
Mlodzinski returned to the Pirates' starting rotation in early August after Mitch Keller (arm) suffered a season-ending injury, and he will now make his third start since then. The 27-year-old has combined to pitch 5.1 innings, allowing nine runs on 12 hits and four walks while striking out two batters over his last two outings. Mlodzinski hasn't exceeded 70 pitches in an outing since June 15, so it's unclear how deep he'll be able to go against Detroit.

Jhoan Duran RP | PHI
Phillies' Jhoan Duran: Escapes with 26th save
Duran secured the save against the Twins on Sunday, striking out three while allowing one hit and one walk in a scoreless ninth inning.
Minnesota brought the possible go-ahead run to the plate in the form of Byron Buxton, but Duran fanned his former teammate to close it out for the Phillies. The right-hander has submitted eight consecutive scoreless outings but threw a season-high 33 pitches Sunday, so it's possible he won't be available for Monday's series opener against the Marlins. For the campaign, Duran has a 1.66 ERA, a 1.02 WHIP and a sparkling 62:8 K:BB with 26 saves in 28 attempts over 43.1 innings.
