Austin Voth RP | TOR
Blue Jays' Austin Voth: Getting chance with Blue Jays
Toronto selected Voth's contract from Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday.
After Voth was released by the White Sox on March 20, the Blue Jays scooped him up on a minor-league contract. In one start with Buffalo this season, the right-hander tossed three innings, allowing two earned runs on two hits and no walks while striking out two batters. Voth has worked both as a starter and a reliever during his time in the majors, but given that Toronto stated that he'd be available to pitch Sunday, it appears he's slated for a bullpen role.

Joe Mantiply RP | TOR
Blue Jays' Joe Mantiply: Summoned to Toronto
The Blue Jays selected Mantiply's contract from Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday.
Mantiply signed a minor-league contract with Toronto in early March, but he wasn't able to crack the Opening Day roster. The veteran reliever thus began the campaign with Buffalo, pitching in two games and allowing one run while posting a 3:0 K:BB over 3.2 innings. Mantiply should occupy a low-leverage spot in the Blue Jays' bullpen. The team was able to clear room for him on the 40-man roster by transferring Cody Ponce (knee) and Anthony Santander (shoulder) to the 60-day IL.

Cody Ponce RP | TOR
Blue Jays' Cody Ponce: Moved to 60-day IL
The Blue Jays transferred Ponce (knee) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Sunday.
Ponce injured his knee during his Blue Jays debut Monday versus the Rockies and is visiting Dr. Neal ElAttrache on Monday to determine whether he needs surgery to repair a sprained right ACL. The right-hander is going to miss significant time and would almost certainly be out until next season if surgery is needed. By placing Ponce on the 60-day IL, Toronto opened up a spot on its 40-man roster.

Yaramil Hiraldo RP | BAL
Orioles' Yaramil Hiraldo: Placed on IL
Baltimore placed Hiraldo on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to right shoulder inflammation, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Hiraldo last pitched Tuesday, when he gave up three runs on two hits and a walk over one inning against Texas. Lefty hurler Cade Povich was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk in a corresponding move.

Ethan Roberts RP | CHC
Cubs' Ethan Roberts: Promoted for doubleheader
The Cubs recalled Roberts from Triple-A Iowa to serve as the 27th man for Sunday's doubleheader against the Guardians, Jared Wyllys of AllCHGO.com reports.
The right-hander failed to make Chicago's Opening Day roster, but he will receive a look in the majors during Sunday's twin bill. Roberts allowed six earned runs with a 6:2 K:BB over 10 big-league appearances last regular season.

Garrett Acton RP | MIN
Twins' Garrett Acton: Called up to Minnesota
The Twins recalled Acton from Triple-A St. Paul on Sunday.
Minnesota acquired Acton in a trade with Miami on Thursday, and the right-hander will quickly get a chance to show the Twins what he can do. Acton worked just one MLB game last year while with the Rays, walking two batters in a hitless and scoreless inning, and he posted a 4:1 K:BB over two outings spanning 2.1 frames this season in the minors before being called up. In a corresponding roster move. Zak Kent was optioned to St. Paul.

Jacob Latz RP | TEX
Rangers' Jacob Latz: Makes second relief appearance
Latz struck out two over a scoreless seventh inning in Saturday's 2-0 loss to the Reds.
Latz, who made a fill-in start for Jacob deGrom last week, has seamlessly transitioned to the bullpen. Saturday's outing was his second straight scoreless relief appearance. The Rangers are concerned with the left-hander's ability to get deep into games as a starter, but Latz could be effective in shorter bursts.

Tony Santillan RP | CIN
Reds' Tony Santillan: Earns third hold
Santillan struck out one over one scoreless inning to earn a hold in Saturday's 2-0 win over the Rangers.
Santillan threw a 1-2-3 eighth inning, setting down the top of Texas' order, to earn his third hold of the season. The right-hander's velocity remains noticeably down from 2025, but it hasn't impacted his effectiveness. Santillan's given up one hit and four walks while striking out seven over five scoreless innings. He's been used in the eighth inning in all five of his appearances.

Elijah Morgan RP | KC
Royals' Eli Morgan: Back to Triple-A after twin bill
The Royals returned Morgan to Triple-A Omaha following Saturday's doubleheader with the Brewers.
Morgan will head back to Omaha following a dominant relief outing in his Royals debut Saturday. After Kansas City called up the veteran righty from Omaha ahead of the second game of the twin bill and designated him as its 27th man, Morgan proceeded to strike out five batters while allowing two baserunners over three scoreless frames en route to earning his second career save in the Royals' 8-2 win.

Javier Assad RP | CHC
Cubs' Javier Assad: Could be needed for MLB rotation
With Cade Horton (forearm) set to land on the injured list, Assad is an option to get promoted from the minors and fill his rotation spot, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
Horton departed Friday's contest after only an inning of work due to right forearm discomfort, and he will be examined more fully to determine the extent of the injury. Following a rainout Saturday, the Cubs don't have to worry about Horton's spot in the rotation again until Wednesday. Assad is a candidate to get the call from Triple-A Iowa, though it appears to be more likely that Ben Brown or Colin Rea moves over from the bullpen and into the rotation. Even if Assad isn't needed right away, he could be next in line if any other Chicago pitchers go down.
