The Phillies recalled Banks from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday.

The move corresponds with right-hander Alan Rangel being optioned to Lehigh Valley following Thursday's game against the Pirates. Banks has spent the majority of the 2026 season in the majors but has been in Triple-A since mid-June. Across 26 major-league games this season, Banks has a 5.86 ERA, 1.92 WHIP, two holds and a 31:13 K:BB across 27.2 innings.

Atlanta optioned Molina to Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday.

Molina was recalled from Gwinnett prior to Friday's game against the Mets but was not used out of the bullpen. He'll now head back to Triple-A, where he has a 4.14 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 47:18 K:BB across 45.2 innings this season (13 games, eight starts). Atlanta recalled JR Ritchie from Gwinnett in a corresponding move.

The Rangers placed Junis on the 15-day injured list Saturday, retroactive to Wednesday, due to a right hip impingement.

Junis allowed six earned runs across his last seven outings (6.2 innings), and those struggles may have been caused by a lingering hip issue. He won't be eligible to return from the IL until after the All-Star break, though it remains to be seen whether Junis needs a longer stint on the shelf. Right-hander Chris Martin (shoulder) was activated from the 15-day IL in a corresponding move.

The Rangers reinstated Martin (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list Saturday.

Martin landed on the IL in early June due to a right shoulder impingement. He appeared in just one game in his rehab assignment with Double-A Frisco, allowing one hit while striking out two batters in a scoreless inning Wednesday. Martin replaces Jakob Junis (hip), who was placed on the 15-day IL.

Beeks (back) will miss the rest of the 2026 season after undergoing arm surgery, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Beeks landed on the 15-day injured list June 11 due to back spasms. Per McFarland, Beeks had a flexor strain flare up during his rehab program that was severe enough for him to undergo season-ending surgery, and it's unclear whether he'll be fully healthy for the start of spring training. Beeks appeared in 29 regular-season games for the Rangers in 2026 and will end his campaign with a 3.81 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, six holds and a 21:8 K:BB across 26 innings.

The Reds optioned Petty to Triple-A Louisville following Friday's game against the Orioles.

The move makes room on the Reds' 26-man roster for Hunter Greene (elbow), who was reinstated from the 60-day injured list ahead of his scheduled start against Baltimore on Saturday. Petty has appeared in 10 major-league games (two starts) for Cincinnati this season and has a 4.37 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, one save and a 9:7 K:BB across 22.2 innings.

Quantrill will be the Rangers' starter Saturday against the Tigers, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Quantrill was initially slated to start Sunday against Detroit, but he'll now take the mound Saturday while Kumar Rocker starts in the series finale. Quantrill has a 3.31 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 25:11 K:BB across 35.1 innings (17 games, two starts) this season.

Kahnle has elected to enter free agency after clearing waivers, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Kahnle was designated for assignment by the Red Sox on Wednesday. He cleared waivers and was set to be outrighted to Triple-A Worcester, but the veteran right-hander has opted to the test the waters in free agency. He's allowed eight runs on 12 hits and six walks while striking out five across nine innings (eight appearances) this season, but Kahnle might still draw interest from a team looking to add a veteran right-hander to its bullpen.

Peralta will start in Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

It will be the fourth time this season that Peralta serves as the Padres' opener, and he will likely toss one or two innings before handing the keys to Griffin Canning. Peralta gave up four runs on six hits while striking out two in one inning against the Dodgers on Thursday, but in his 37 appearances prior to that, he had a 1.62 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, three holds and a 28:18 K:BB across 44.1 innings.

Hoffman walked one and struck out two in a scoreless eighth inning Friday to record his ninth hold of the season in a win over the Mariners.

The right-hander kept a combined shutout going after Dylan Cease delivered seven scoreless frames, before Hoffman handed the ball off to Louis Varland in the ninth. Hoffman hasn't allowed an earned run since June 6, and over 11 appearances since then he's produced a 0.79 WHIP and 15:5 K:BB in 11.1 innings while picking up one win and two holds.
