Ramirez's suspension was reduced from three games to two games Monday following an appeal, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Ramirez was given the suspension for intentionally throwing a pitch at Rhys Hoskins in Saturday's loss to the Brewers. The reliever will begin serving the suspension in Monday's series opener with the Tigers.

Soriano earned a hold against Baltimore on Sunday, allowing one hit and two walks while striking out two batters over three scoreless innings.

Soriano was initially tabbed to stretch out as a starter during spring camp, but he ultimately made the Opening Day roster as a reliever due to Robert Stephenson's shoulder injury. Soriano entered in the sixth inning in his season debut Sunday and successfully bridged the gap between starter Reid Detmers and closer Carlos Estevez with three scoreless frames. Per Statcast, Soriano averaged 100.4 mph on his 12 four-seam fastballs and 98.2 mph on his 19 sinkers, and he went to his curveball just three times. That's a turnaround from last year, when the curve was the right-hander's most prominent pitch, as he threw it 41.2 percent of the time. Soriano has the arsenal to thrive as either a starter or reliever, with walks being his primary flaw last season -- he posted a 12.4 percent walk rate to somewhat offset his excellent 30.3 percent strikeout rate.

White (elbow) struck out the lone batter he faced Sunday in Triple-A Toledo's 12-0 loss to Nashville.

White hadn't made any spring appearances before the Tigers optioned him to minor-league camp March 8, but he was able to face three batters last Tuesday in an exhibition with the Rays to guarantee his availability for the start of the minor-league season.

Chargois (neck) has begun a throwing program, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Chargois is on the injured list with a neck issue that bothered him throughout spring training, but he's finally ready to pick up a baseball again. He figures to need a handful of throwing sessions before being ready for a rehab assignment.

Crismatt (1-0) earned the win in relief against the Cardinals on Sunday, allowing one hit while striking out three batters over two scoreless innings.

Crismatt signed a minor-league deal with Los Angeles in the offseason and had his contract selected Sunday morning. The veteran reliever had a successful first outing with his new team, throwing 22 of 29 pitches for strikes over the seventh and eighth frames as the Dodgers offense worked to erase a two-run deficit. Crismatt struggled with San Diego and Arizona last season and finished with an 8.31 ERA over 13 innings, but he performed well the year prior and could stick in Los Angeles' bullpen if he can build off his excellent first impression.

Garrett was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse by the Mets on Monday.

He's taking the roster spot vacated by Tylor Megill (shoulder). Garrett had a 6.41 ERA during his time in the majors last season and would seem to be a good bet to be sent back down when the Mets need a starting pitcher to slide into Megill's slot.

Hudson tossed three scoreless innings of relief and picked up his first hold of the season in Sunday's victory over the Mets. He allowed two hits and posted a 4:0 K:BB in the outing.

Hudson entered the game in the bottom of the sixth inning with the Brewers holding a 4-1 lead, and he ensured no other relievers were needed until Joel Payamps came in to close out the contest. Hudson recorded more than three outs three times with the Dodgers last season and several more times in the minors, so he could fill a versatile role out of Milwaukee's bullpen.

Scott (0-1) took the loss Sunday against the Pirates, allowing two unearned runs on one hit and one walk in one inning. He struck out three.

Taking the mound in the top of the 10th inning with Oneil Cruz as the phantom runner, Scott committed an error on Alika Williams' sacrifice bunt attempt to lead off the frame, and things went off the rails from there. The southpaw walked in Pittsburgh's second run but did eventually strike out the side and threw 20 of his 27 pitches for strikes -- an encouraging sign after he had some difficulty finding the plate consistently this spring and issued two free passes in his first 2024 appearance. Scott is still the presumed closer for the Marlins, although the team hasn't created a save chance yet, but if his control issues persist, manager Skip Schumaker may not wait long to remove him from the role. Five different players recorded at least three saves for Miami in 2023.

Berroa (shoulder) recorded one out and was charged with five earned runs on four hits and one walk Friday in Triple-A Charlotte's 6-5 loss to Memphis.

Berroa wasn't able to make any Cactus League appearances after March 11 due to a right shoulder injury, but despite missing out on a spot on the White Sox's Opening Day roster, he was deemed healthy enough to begin the season in the Triple-A bullpen. The 23-year-old right-hander could eventually build momentum for a promotion to the big leagues and might fill a key late-inning role for the White Sox down the road, but no call-up should be viewed as imminent after his disastrous showing Friday in his season debut. He spotted just 12 of his 21 pitches for strikes and served up two home runs en route to taking the loss in relief.

White (1-0) picked up the win Sunday against the Rays, allowing just one walk over three scoreless, hitless relief innings without striking out a batter.

While he wasn't dominant, the 29-year-old right-hander was effective after taking over from Kevin Gausman with one out in the fifth inning as he recorded his first win in the majors since May 17, 2022. White tossed 32 of 47 pitches for strikes but generated only three swinging strikes, relying on weak contact and good defense to get the job done. He won't be available for a few days after the extended outing, but Wes Parsons is also available for long-relief duties in the Toronto bullpen in the meantime.
