Sborz (hamstring) said he'll be available out of the bullpen in Game 4 of the World Series on Tuesday versus the Diamondbacks, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports.

Sborz experienced some hamstring cramps while pitching a scoreless seventh inning in the Rangers' Game 3 win on Monday, but he showed up back at Chase Field in Arizona on Tuesday with no lingering discomfort. The 29-year-old right-hander has allowed just one run through 9.2 innings of work in the 2023 postseason.

Seattle outrighted Oller to Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday.

Oller passed through waivers unclaimed after being removed from the Mariners' 40-man roster. The 29-year-old right-hander holds a rough 7.09 ERA and 59:51 K:BB in 94 career major-league innings.

The Mets claimed Murfee (elbow) off waivers from the Mariners on Tuesday.

Murfee required surgery in July to repair the UCL in his right elbow and will likely miss at least the first half of the 2024 season. When healthy, the 29-year-old reliever has compiled an impressive 2.70 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 92:28 K:BB across 83.1 career major-league innings.

Milwaukee outrighted Boushley to Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Boushley passed through waivers unclaimed after being pushed off the Brewers' 40-man roster. He made his major-league debut this past September at age 29, but it was only a one-day stint and he finished the year with an underwhelming 5.11 ERA across 135.2 innings at the Triple-A level.

The Dodgers outrighted Cyr (shoulder) to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

Cyr made only two appearances in the majors this season and finished the year on the 60-day injured list because of a shoulder impingement. The 30-year-old right-hander will not be part of the 40-man roster in Los Angeles leading into the offseason.

Mantiply will work as the opener for Game 4 of the World Series against the Rangers on Tuesday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Mantiply last pitched during Game 1, striking out one batter over a scoreless inning of relief work. He figures to work the first inning or so before handing the ball to a primary pitcher. The Diamondbacks have yet to reveal any pitching plans past Mantiply, but Ryne Nelson would figure to be one of the top candidates to get outs, as he's yet to take the mound this series.

Barnes elected free agency Monday, per MLB's transactions log.

Barnes chose to test the open market after failing to draw interest while on waivers. He appeared in 13 games for the Cardinals during the 2023 campaign, posting a 5.93 ERA and 1.54 WHIP with eight strikeouts over 13.2 innings.

Rodriguez was claimed off waivers by the Diamondbacks on Monday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.

Rodriguez last pitched in the majors for the Angels in 2021 before missing most of the last two seasons with shoulder issues. He most recently experienced a setback with his back while on a rehab assignment. While Rodriguez's current health status is unclear, he's just 25 and was an exciting young arm before injuries struck.

Oakland outrighted Snead to Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday.

Snead, 29, gave up seven runs -- six earned -- on 14 hits and six walks over 11.2 major-league innings this season and also held an ugly 7.59 ERA in 23 appearances at Triple-A. He is now off the Athletics' 40-man roster.

Nittoli signed a minor-league contract with the Athletics on Friday, Jessica Kleinschmidt of The Comeback reports.

The deal includes an invitation to spring training, where Nittoli will compete for a spot in Oakland's Opening Day bullpen. Nittoli posted a 4.64 ERA in 42.2 innings at the Triple-A level this season, along with allowing one run over 3.2 frames during a brief stint with the Mets.
