Orioles' Cameron Foster: Dealt to O's

A 14th-round pick by the Mets in 2022, Foster is now on the move ahead of the trade deadline. The 26-year-old has spent most of this season at the Double-A level, where he has a 1.01 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 34:5 K:BB across 26.2 innings.

Mets' Gregory Soto: Sent to Mets
The Mets acquired Soto from the Orioles on Friday in exchange for pitching prospects Wellington Aracena and Cameron Foster, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.
The veteran left-hander is on the move at the trade deadline for a second consecutive year after being dealt from Philadelphia to Baltimore in 2024. Soto has served as a setup man for the Orioles this season with one save and 18 holds, and he has a 3.96 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 44:18 K:BB over 36.1 innings. He should fill a similar role in Queens in front of closer Edwin Diaz.

Mason Miller SP | SD
Athletics' Mason Miller: Earns 20th save
Miller struck out one and walked one in 1.1 scoreless innings to secure the save in Thursday's 4-2 win against the Astros.
The right-hander was called upon with two outs and two on in the eighth inning, but he induced a flyout from Jose Altuve and returned for the ninth to put away Houston. Miller has converted his past six save chances and hasn't given up a run in his last 10 appearances. It's been a bit of an up-and-down campaign for the A's closer, but he still has a 3.86 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 58:18 K:BB over 37.1 innings while going 20-for-23 in save opportunities.
