  • Joe Barlow RP | TEX

Rangers' Joe Barlow: Secures seventh save

Barlow issued one walk and struck out one batter in a scoreless ninth inning while earning a save over the Angels on Monday.

Barlow allowed a leadoff walk to Luis Rengifo but had no issue finishing off the 7-4 win. He's now turned in 10 straight scoreless appearances, going 1-0 with seven saves during that span. The 26-year-old is sporting a 1.35 ERA and a 15:4 K:BB on the year.

  • White Sox's Kendall Graveman: Coughs up three runs

Graveman allowed three earned runs on four hits while striking out one across one inning Monday against the Royals.

Graveman entered the game with a three-run lead in the eighth inning, though he coughed up the advantage by allowing three singles and a double. He entered the contest having allowed only one earned run across his last 10 frames, and he posted four holds and two saves in that span. Despite his poor outing, Graveman should continue to occupy the top setup role in the White Sox bullpen.

  • Adam Cimber RP | LAA

Blue Jays' Adam Cimber: Earns rare save Monday

Cimber pitched two-thirds of an inning, retiring both batters he faced while striking out one on his way to a save in Monday's 6-2 win over the Mariners.

With Jordan Romano (illness) unavailable Monday, Cimber was called upon to get the final two outs of the Blue Jays' win over the Mariners. After Ross Stripling gave up an unearned run while registering one out in the ninth, the 29-year-old entered the game and got both batters he faced out, stranding two runners on base. The save was his second of the season while he has five holds operating as a set-up option before Romano who typically gets the ninth frame. Cimber has a 2.35 ERA and 0.85 WHIP with 11 punchouts in 15.1 innings this year.

  • Camilo Doval RP | SF

Giants' Camilo Doval: Notches sixth save

Doval earned the save against the Rockies on Monday, tossing a scoreless inning during which he allowed one walk and struck out one batter.

After the Giants pulled ahead with a run in the top of the ninth frame, Doval was asked to protect the lead against the heart of the Rockies' order. He walked C.J. Cron with one out but retired the following two batters to close out the contest. Doval extended his streak of appearances with at least one strikeout to 13 games, and he converted his sixth consecutive save opportunity. He appears to be firmly entrenched in his role as San Francisco's closer.

  • Rays' Andrew Kittredge: Surrenders another homer

Kittredge (3-1) allowed a solo home run in the ninth inning to take the loss Monday against Detroit.

Kittredge entered the game in the top of the ninth inning with the score knotted at two. He recorded two outs without incident but then allowed the game-winning home run to Harold Castro. While Kittredge still appears to be Tampa Bay's preferred closer, he has served up three home runs across his last 5.2 innings of work. In that span, he's been charged with two blown saves and a loss. If the team opts to look elsewhere in the ninth inning, Brooks Raley appears to be the likeliest candidate.

  • Liam Hendriks RP | CHC

White Sox's Liam Hendriks: Fans side for save

Hendriks struck out all three batters he faced and earned a save over the Royals on Monday.

Hendriks needed just 12 pitches in a perfect 10th inning to secure the 5-3 win Monday. He blew his last two save chances after converting the previous nine. The veteran righty lowered his ERA to 4.41 with 10 saves and 26 punchouts through 16.1 innings.

  • Bryse Wilson RP | MIL

Pirates' Bryse Wilson: Yields four runs

Wilson allowed four runs (three earned) on eight hits and two walks over 5.1 innings in Monday's loss to the Cubs. He struck out eight and did not factor in the decision.

Wilson entered the game in the first inning with two outs and bases loaded after Dillon Peters was chased early. He didn't fare much better, failing to retire any of the first five batters he faced while also serving up a grand slam to Willson Contreras. The 24-year-old is sporting a 5.67 ERA and a 22:12 K:BB through 27 frames. Wilson is expected to face the Cardinals at home this weekend.

  • Dillon Peters RP | PIT

Pirates' Dillon Peters: Chased in first inning

Peters (3-2) allowed five runs in four hits and a walk while taking a loss against the Cubs on Monday. He recorded two outs.

Peters gave up two runs and loaded the bases before he was relieved in favor of Bryse Wilson. He would get charged with three more runs as all of the runners he left on base came around to score during the Cubs' eight-run first inning. Peters saw his season ERA jump from 1.83 to 3.98 through 20.1 frames.

  • Jordan Romano RP | COL

Blue Jays' Jordan Romano: Dealing with illness

Romano was unavailable to pitch in Monday's game against the Mariners due to a non-COVID-related illness, Mike Wilner of the Toronto Star reports.

Romano will be considered day-to-day moving forward and was spotted pacing the bullpen during Monday's matchup. "He's not gonna stay in the clubhouse, he's a gamer," said manager Charlie Montoyo. "And it's not COVID, so he's not contagious." The team will likely re-evaluate the closer Tuesday morning before determining his availability for the second game of the series.

  • Braves' Tucker Davidson: Returning to big leagues

Davidson will be recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett to start Tuesday's game against the Brewers, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Davidson will make his first start of the 2022 campaign after making one relief appearance earlier this season for Atlanta. He struggled in that outing, surrendering five runs on five hits and two walks while fanning two over 2.2 innings. Davidson had a strong 31.2 K% and 1.14 WHIP at Triple-A, although he had nine walks while surrendering five home runs in 26.1 innings.
