Brito gave up a solo home run and struck out three over 3.2 relief innings Friday to record his first career save in a 7-1 win over the Diamondbacks.

A hit-by-pitch and a ninth-inning blast by Christian Walker were the only blemishes on Brito's line. The 25-year-old right-hander has been outstanding in a long relief role down the stretch -- over five September appearances spanning 15 innings, Brito's collected three wins in addition to Friday's save with a 1.20 ERA, 0.73 WHIP and 12:2 K:BB.

Weaver (3-5) picked up the win Friday, allowing four hits over 5.1 scoreless innings in a 7-1 victory over the Diamondbacks. He struck out three without walking a batter.

The veteran right-hander tossed 52 of 78 pitches for strikes in his second straight impressive outing since being claimed off waivers from the Mariners. In two starts and 9.1 innings for the Yankees, Weaver has a 2.89 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 10:2 K:BB. He lines up for one more start before the end of the regular season, on the road next week in Toronto.

Gipson-Long allowed a run on four hits and three walks while striking out four over five innings in a no-decision versus the Athletics on Friday.

Gipson-Long kept the scoring down but didn't have dominant stuff Friday, throwing 52 of 89 pitches for strikes. He's maintained a 2.40 ERA through 15 innings over three starts while adding a 20:6 K:BB. He's tentatively due for one more start in 2023, which is expected to come at home versus the Royals.

Waldichuk (4-8) allowed two runs on four hits and struck out seven without walking a batter over six innings to earn the win over the Tigers on Friday.

Waldichuk has two quality starts over four outings in September, and he also pitched six no-hit innings as a bulk reliever versus the Astros on Sept. 11. He's found some consistency with strong performances this month, lowering his ERA for the year to 5.29 with a 1.54 WHIP and 129:68 K:BB through 136 innings over 34 outings (21 starts). Waldichuk is likely set for one more appearance this season, which is tentatively scheduled to come on the road in Minnesota.

Valdez (12-11) allowed seven runs (six earned) on four hits and three walks over 5.1 innings Friday, striking out 10 and taking a loss against Kansas City.

The Royals pounced on Valdez with a four-run first inning and set the tone for the rest of the game. He held them off until the sixth inning, when he was charged with three more runs. Despite the rough performance, he reached double-digit strikeouts for the fourth time this year and the second time this month. Valdez owns a 3.57 ERA in 10 starts since the beginning of August despite allowing at least six runs on three occasions during that span. He'll carry a 3.39 ERA into his final regular-season appearance, which is lined up to come in Seattle next week.

Ragans (7-4) yielded two runs on three hits and four walks over six innings Friday, striking out five and picking up a win over Houston.

Ragans gave up a run in each of the first two innings but was able to limit the damage in his quality start. It was a solid rebound after the Astros tagged him for five runs in his last appearance, but he's now walked 12 batters over his last 17.2 frames. Ragans owns a 2.34 ERA and an 81:23 K:BB in 11 starts since joining the Royals. He's lined up to take the mound in Detroit next week for his final start of the season.

Lopez (11-8) yielded three runs on five hits and a walk over six innings Friday, striking out seven and earning a win over the Angels.

Lopez looked strong through four scoreless frames before Jared Walsh tagged him for a two-run homer as part of the Angels' three-run fifth inning. After allowing just eight runs during a seven-start stretch, Lopez has coughed up eight runs in his last two outings, raising his season ERA to 3.61. Still, he owns an impressive 2.51 ERA and 68:11 K:BB since the start of August. Lopez is currently in line for a home matchup with the Athletics next week to close out his regular season.

Dunning (11-6) yielded four runs on four hits and two walks over 5.1 frames Friday, striking out two and earning a win over the Mariners.

Dunning rolled through five shutout frames before Cal Raleigh belted a three-run shot in the sixth inning. The Rangers were up 8-0 at that point, so Dunning still snagged his 11th win of the year and second of the month. Over his last nine starts, he's gone 2-2 while posting an unsightly 5.66 ERA. Dunning will carry a 3.88 ERA into his final outing of the regular season, which is lined up to come on the road against the Angels.

Glasnow (9-7) took the loss Friday, allowing four runs on three hits and four walks over 5.1 innings against the Blue Jays. He struck out seven.

Glasnow struggled with his command Friday night as his four walks equaled his season high, registered June 14 against Oakland. In eight starts since returning from a back injury Aug. 14, the 30-year-old pitcher has gone 4-4 with a 4.46 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 57:14 K:BB over 46.1 innings. Glasnow will look to bounce back in his final start of the season, currently scheduled to be a rematch against the Jays in Toronto.

Miller (8-6) allowed six runs on six hits and a walk over 4.1 innings Friday, striking out two and taking a loss against Texas.

Most of the damage against Miller came in the first two innings when he allowed a solo shot to Corey Seager and a three-run homer to Evan Carter. Miller had given up just one home run over his previous eight starts. During that stretch, he posted a strong 2.98 ERA and 38:7 K:BB over 42.1 frames. Miller's season ERA climbed to 4.17 through 127.1 innings. He's currently lined up for a home matchup with the Astros next week for his final regular-season start.
