Yonny Chirinos SP | MIA
Rays' Yonny Chirinos: Delivers another quality start
Chirinos allowed two runs on six hits and two walks over six innings during Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Athletics. He struck out three but did not factor in the decision.
Chirinos was actually in line for the loss when he exited the game, but the Rays were able to tie it up in the top of the seventh inning to get him off the hook. The 25-year-old has a 3.00 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 71:17 K:BB over 87 innings and lines up to start Friday versus the Rangers.

Spencer Turnbull RP | TOR
Tigers' Spencer Turnbull: Takes seventh loss
Turnbull allowed two runs on six hits with two walks and four strikeouts across five innings while taking a loss against the Indians on Saturday.
The 26-year-old pitched much better than he did in his last outing, but it still resulted in a loss. Bad luck has been common for him, as Turnbull has allowed more than three earned runs just once in his last five starts but is 1-3 during that stretch. Overall, he is 3-7 with a 3.29 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 81 strikeouts in 87.2 innings this season. He will look to earn his fourth victory at home against the Nationals on Friday.

Aaron Civale RP | CHC
Indians' Aaron Civale: Throws six shutout frames in debut
Civale pitched six scoreless innings, allowing two hits with three walks and six strikeouts to earn a victory in his major-league debut against the Tigers on Saturday.
It's hard to imagine a better debut for the 24-year-old, who gave up just two infield singles and didn't allow a baserunner to reach third base. Civale actually only threw 46 of 87 pitches for strikes, including just four swinging strikes, but making it though six frames needing just 87 pitches in a major-league debut is quite impressive. This will likely prove to be a spot start for Civale, but if he receives another opportunity, owners should jump at the chance to plug him in the lineup, assuming he isn't in a terrible matchup.

Tommy Milone SP | SEA
Mariners' Tommy Milone: Suffers tough loss
Milone allowed three runs on four hits with six strikeouts and three walks across five innings while taking a loss against the Orioles on Saturday.
The left-hander has yielded three runs or fewer while pitching at least five innings in four straight starts, but he has yet to earn a win during this stretch. Milone's best attribute has been his strikeouts, though, as he has punched out at least six batters in six of his seven outings this season. He is 1-2 with a 3.35 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 38 strikeouts in 37.2 innings in 2019. Milone will start next at the Astros on Friday.

Jose Berrios SP | TOR
Twins' Jose Berrios: Leaves with blister
Berrios was forced to exit Saturday's game against the Royals due to a blister on his right ring finger, LaVelle E. Neal III of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Berrios threw seven scoreless innings but allowed the first two batters to reach base in the eighth before leaving with the injury. Both runners would come around to score, as would another batter later in the inning, condemning Berrios to a no-decision despite his strong outing. It remains to be seen whether or not the blister will put his next start at risk.

Jose Berrios SP | TOR
Twins' Jose Berrios: Exits early with unknown injury
Berrios was pulled with an unspecified injury in the eighth inning of his start against the Royals on Saturday, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Berrios cruised through the first seven innings, tossing only 83 pitches while allowing zero runs and striking out three. He ran into trouble in the top of the eighth, ceding a base hit and a walk before leaving the mound with team trainer Tony Leo. The Twins should provide an update regarding the nature of Berrios' departure later in the day, but LaVelle E. Neal III of the Minneapolis Star Tribune speculates that the right-hander may have been dealing with a nail or blister issue.

John Means SP | KC
Orioles' John Means: Set for side session
Means (shoulder) will throw a side session Sunday, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.
Means landed on the injured list Thursday with a shoulder strain but anticipated missing just one start. The fact that he's already about to resume throwing indicates that he remains on target for a brief absence, though his return timeline won't become fully clear until after his throwing session.

Aaron Civale RP | CHC
Indians' Aaron Civale: Called up for start
The Indians officially called up Civale from Triple-A Columbus ahead of his scheduled start Saturday against the Tigers.
Cleveland has yet to announce corresponding moves to open up spots on the 40-man and active rosters for Civale, who will be making his MLB debut in the penultimate game of the series. The 24-year-old has made six starts between Triple-A and Double-A Akron this season, compiling a 2.85 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 40:10 K:BB across 41 innings. Due to multiple off days in the schedule over the next two weeks, Cleveland can get by with a four-man rotation after Saturday's contest, so Civale will likely just be making a spot start before heading back to the minors.

Tommy Milone SP | SEA
Mariners' Tommy Milone: Not working behind opener
Milone will be used as a traditional starter rather than as a bulk reliever in Saturday's game against the Orioles, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
Milone delivered impressive results while working behind an opener in his last three turns through the rotation, garnering a 2.55 ERA, 0.62 WHIP and 13 strikeouts in 17.2 innings over that span. The southpaw's success may have motivated manager Scott Servais to give Milone another look in the traditional starting role, which should give the southpaw an opportunity to cover more innings than he would as a bulk reliever. If Milone fails to maintain his strong form of late in Saturday's outing, he could return to bulk-relief duty the next time his turn in the rotation comes up.

Nathan Eovaldi SP | TEX
Red Sox's Nathan Eovaldi: Plays catch again
Eovaldi (elbow) played catch from out to 90 feet Friday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
The session marked the fourth time in the last five days Eovaldi has thrown since restarting his rehab process. The right-hander had surgery on his elbow April 23 and had his rehab shut down due to biceps soreness in early June.
