A 23-year-old righty, Nezuh compiled a 4.98 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 40:12 K:BB over 34.1 innings in his eight appearances (seven starts) with Corpus Christi before being deactivated.

Astros' Jose Fleury: Shelved at Double-A
Double-A Corpus Christi placed Fleury on its 7-day injured list May 18 due to an unspecified injury.
The Astros have yet to provide information on the nature of Fleury's injury, but he's now been sidelined since mid-May and remains without a clear timeline for a return. Before being shut down, Fleury made seven starts for Corpus Christi and delivered a 2.25 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 34:9 K:BB across 32 innings.

Angels' Jack Kochanowicz: Coughs up four runs
Kochanowicz (3-7) yielded four runs on five hits and three walks over 3.2 innings Sunday, striking out four and taking a loss against Cleveland.
Kochanowicz delivered two scoreless frames to open the game before coughing up a run in the third inning. The Guardians then scored three in the fourth inning, including one on a solo shot by Jose Ramirez. Kochanowicz has given up four runs in three straight outings, raising his ERA from 4.71 to 5.34 in the process. He threw just 48 of 84 pitches for strikes Sunday in his shortest outing of the year. Kochanowicz is currently slated to face the Mariners at home next weekend.

Guardians' Gavin Williams: Fans six in win
Williams (5-3) yielded two unearned runs on one hit and two walks over 6.2 innings, striking out six and earning a win over the Angels on Sunday.
Williams fired six scoreless frames before the Angels finally plated a pair of runs in the seventh inning. Both runs scored after he was removed from the game but were unearned due to a fielding error by Gabriel Arias. Williams threw 60 of 103 pitches for strikes but generated only 11 whiffs. He threw a season-high 109 pitches in his previous outing. Williams dropped his ERA to 3.79 with a shaky 66:34 K:BB through 59.1 frames. His next start is projected to be a home matchup with the Astros.

Tigers' Keider Montero: Pitches well in no-decision
Montero did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 1-0 win over the Royals, allowing seven hits and one walk while striking out two over 4.2 scoreless innings.
Montero threw 53 of 72 pitches for strikes and departed one out short of qualifying for the win. The 24-year-old has now tossed back-to-back scoreless outings but has failed to complete five innings in three of his six starts this season. He'll carry a 4.02 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 26:16 K:BB across 40.1 innings into what will likely be a home matchup against the Cubs next weekend.

Royals' Kris Bubic: Goes seven in tough-luck loss
Bubic (5-3) took the loss against the Tigers on Sunday, allowing one run on four hits and two walks with nine strikeouts over seven innings.
Bubic induced a whopping 18 whiffs on 99 pitches and allowed just one run on a wild pitch in the third inning. He has now worked seven frames in four of his past five starts, recording nine punchouts three times in that span. The southpaw leads the majors with a 1.43 ERA and carries a 1.00 WHIP and 79:22 K:BB across 75.1 innings. He's slated for a favorable road matchup against the White Sox next weekend.

Red Sox's Hayden Mullins: Moves past shoulder issue
Mullins (shoulder) has struck out six batters over 5.1 scoreless innings while scattering two hits and four walks in his two starts for Double-A Portland since being activated from the 7-day injured list May 25.
Mullins was sidelined for about three and a half weeks after experiencing right shoulder fatigue, but he hasn't missed a beat since rejoining the Portland rotation. Through his first three outings at the Double-A level since getting a promotion from High-A Greenville in late April, Mullins owns an 0.82 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 16:8 K:BB across 11 frames.

Angels' Sam Aldegheri: Expected to join big-league roster
Aldegheri is expected to join the Angels in Boston for their three-game series beginning Monday, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports.
Aldegheri will return to the big leagues after spending the entirety of the 2025 campaign with Double-A Rocket City so far. The left-hander has produced a 4.34 ERA with 48 strikeouts over 47.2 innings in nine starts with the Trash Pandas to this point. It's unclear what role the 23-year-old will have with the Angels, but he compiled a 4.85 ERA and 1.92 WHIP with 10 punchouts over 13 innings in three starts with the team in 2024.

Blue Jays' Kevin Gausman: Fans seven in no-decision
Gausman did not factor in the decision during Sunday's win over the Athletics. He allowed three runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out seven over 4.2 innings.
Gausman gave up one run through four innings before Luis Urias' two-run double in the fifth knocked him out of the contest. It was just the second time in 12 starts that Gausman failed to complete five frames. He'd given up one run over 15 frames in his previous two starts before Sunday. Gausman threw 60 of 96 pitches for strikes and generated 13 whiffs, including 10 with the splitter. He's registered a 3.82 ERA alongside a 68:14 K:BB through 70.2 innings. Gausman's next start is expected to be in Minnesota.

Sears did not factor in the decision during Sunday's loss to Toronto. He allowed two runs on seven hits while striking out three over five frames.
Sears threw four shutout frames before the Blue Jays plated a pair of runs in the fifth inning. He was in line for his first win since April 28 before Toronto exploded with a six-run eighth inning. Sears gave up 15 runs in his previous two outings and posted an 8.37 ERA across five May appearances. He dropped his ERA to 5.05 with a 46:11 K:BB through 62.1 innings. Sears' next outing is expected to be a home matchup against the Orioles.
