Mikolas (1-2) picked up the win in the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Reds, scattering three hits over 5.1 scoreless innings in a 6-0 victory. He struck out four without walking a batter.

The veteran right-hander finally got into the win column with a razor-sharp performance. Mikolas tossed 52 of 77 pitches for strikes, although he faded a couple outs short of his second straight quality start. A rough outing in Boston on April 8 is still marring his overall ratios, but over his last four starts, Mikolas sports a 2.14 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 13:6 K:BB over 21 innings. He lines up to make his next trip to the mound at home early next week against the Pirates.

Irvin (2-1) took the loss Wednesday against the Phillies after allowing six runs on eight hits and three walks in six innings. He struck out two.

Irvin struggled in a tough matchup in Philadelphia, yielding a season-high eight knocks and six earned runs. The right-hander also tied season worsts with three walks and two punchouts, posting just five whiffs Wednesday. However, Irvin still managed to toss at least six innings in his fifth straight outing, so he'll look to continue providing length for the Nationals in his next scheduled appearance versus the Guardians. He owns a respectable 4.01 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 33:11 K:BB across 42.2 innings in 2025.

Sanchez (3-1) earned the win Wednesday against the Nationals after allowing two runs on five hits and three walks in five innings. He struck out six.

After being limited to two innings due to forearm soreness in his last start against the Mets, Sanchez looked sharp and didn't appear to be facing any restrictions Wednesday. While he did lend a season-high three free passes, the left-hander generated 13 whiffs and yielded just one extra-base hit. Sanchez has thrown at least five innings in five of his six outings this season, and he'll take a steady 3.45 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 39:11 K:BB over 31.1 innings into his next scheduled appearance against the Rays.

Roupp (2-2) took the loss Wednesday against San Diego, allowing four runs on seven hits and three walks over 4.1 innings. He struck out four.

Roupp's now allowed nine runs (seven earned) over eight innings in his last two starts. His ERA is up to 5.10 with a 1.63 WHIP and 35:14 K:BB through six starts (30 innings) this season. Roupp will look to get on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week against the Cubs.

King (4-1) earned the win Wednesday over the Giants, allowing one run on three hits and a walk across 5.2 innings. He struck out six.

King blanked the Giants through five innings before Jung Hoo Lee drove in a run with a two-out infield single in the sixth. The 29-year-old King has yet to allow more than three runs in a start this year while holding opponents to two runs or fewer in each of his last four outings. King's ERA now sits at 2.09 on the season with a 1.01 WHIP and 46:12 K:BB across seven starts (38.2 innings). He'll look to keep rolling in his next outing, tentatively scheduled for next week against the Yankees.

Anderson did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Mariners, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks across six innings. He struck out five.

While Anderson had to settle for a no-decision, it's the third consecutive quality start for the left-hander, who's yet to allow more than three runs in an outing this season. Anderson's ERA sits at 2.67 on the year with a 1.04 WHIP and 27:14 K:BB across six starts (33.2 innings). He's currently lined up to face the Blue Jays at home in his next start.

Hancock did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Angels, allowing three runs on nine hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out four.

It's the second straight quality start for Hancock, who's pitched to a 3.71 ERA in three outings (17 innings) since rejoining the Mariners after allowing six runs in just two-thirds of an inning during his first start this year. Hancock will look to continue the upward trend in his next outing, tentatively scheduled for next week against the A's.

Quantrill (2-3) took the loss Wednesday against the Dodgers, allowing four runs on six hits and a walk across 3.2 innings. He struck out three.

After pitching a clean first inning, Quantrill gave up a two-out, solo homer to Max Muncy in the second before the Dodgers tacked on three more runs in the third. The 30-year-old Quantrill has given up four or more runs in four of his first six starts this season. His ERA is up to 8.10 with a 1.80 WHIP and 16:10 K:BB through 26.2 innings.

Gonsolin (1-0) earned the win in Wednesday's 12-7 victory over the Marlins, allowing three runs on six hits over six innings. He struck out nine.

It was an impressive return to the mound for Gonsolin, who missed the first month of the season with a back injury after missing all of the 2024 campaign while recovering from Tommy John surgery. With Blake Snell (shoulder) and Tyler Glasnow (shoulder) both sidelined, Gonsolin provides much-needed reinforcement to the Dodgers' rotation. The right-hander currently lines up for a rematch with the Marlins on the road in his next outing.

Jobe didn't factor in the decision Wednesday against the Astros after giving up three runs on four hits and four walks across four-plus innings. He struck out four.

Making his first start since April 18, Jobe allowed a leadoff homer to Jeremy Pena in the opening frame but followed up with three straight scoreless innings. The right-hander returned for the fifth but was pulled after giving up a walk, a single and a two-run double to the first three batters he faced. The extended break between starts wasn't due to any sort of injury, but rather, an attempt to build in some extra rest for the 22-year-old rookie. Jobe has now issued three-plus walks in three of his five starts this year, though his overall line is still decent with a 3.38 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 18:14 K:BB across 24 innings.
