Fedde was hurt by the long ball Sunday, surrendering three home runs. Jeremy Pena took him deep twice, including a leadoff blast to begin the game, while Taylor Trammell added a solo shot of his own in the fifth inning. It marked the first time since May 12 that Fedde has allowed multiple home runs in a start. After compiling a 5.40 ERA and 0-5 record through his first 11 starts, Fedde has now gone 5-1 with a 2.93 ERA over his last 10 outings. He's scheduled to make his next start Friday on the road against the Rays.

Drake took a no-decision Sunday against the Nationals, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks in four-plus innings. He struck out one.

Drake wasn't able to replicate the results from his big-league debut Tuesday versus the Athletics, when he fired five innings of one-run ball. The rookie left-hander served up a pair of home runs Sunday, and he was unable to record an out in the fifth frame. Drake is helping plug up Arizona's injury-riddled rotation for the time being, but he might get only one more turn next weekend in Cleveland if Michael Soroka (glute) is ready to return in early August.

Junk did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Padres, allowing one run on seven hits while striking out six over 4.2 innings.

Junk threw 55 of his 75 pitches for strikes and matched his season high with six strikeouts despite generating only four whiffs. He was one strike away from completing five scoreless innings before Manny Machado ripped an RBI double in the fifth, ending both the shutout and Junk's outing. Through three starts since returning from a right shin injury, the right-hander has allowed nine runs (eight earned) across 13.2 innings. Junk owns a 4.89 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 57:20 K:BB over 73.2 innings this season and is scheduled to make his next start on the road against the Mets.

Buehler did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Marlins, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out seven over 5.1 innings.

After issuing a pair of walks to begin the second inning, Buehler allowed two runs to score, though one came across following a throwing error by catcher Luis Campusano. Kyle Stowers added a solo homer in the third, but Buehler settled in from there, retiring 10 consecutive batters before a sixth-inning single ended his afternoon. The seven strikeouts matched his season high. The veteran right-hander endured a miserable start to July, allowing 20 runs over his first 11 innings, but he has responded with back-to-back strong outings since the break. Buehler is scheduled to make his next start at home against the Giants.

Springs was removed in the second inning of Sunday's 11-8 loss to the Twins due to right hip discomfort, MLB.com reports.

Springs dropped to 3-11 on the season and was charged with five runs allowed (four earned) on four hits and one walk over 1.1 innings in his start before exiting the contest. The Athletics will likely evaluate Springs further over the next day or two before deciding if he's available to make his next turn through the rotation, which would tentatively fall Friday versus the Tigers in Sacramento. Luis Morales tossed 4.2 innings of long relief Sunday and would be a logical choice to enter the rotation if Springs needs to miss a start.

Sheehan did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Mets, allowing one run on three hits and two walks while striking out five over five innings.

Sheehan stumbled out of the gate, allowing three straight hits before recording his first out, which resulted in the Mets plating their lone run against him. The right-hander responded impressively, holding New York hitless over the next 18 batters he faced. Sheehan exited in line for the win, but the Dodgers' bullpen quickly surrendered the lead en route to an 8-3 loss. He has now failed to complete six innings in each of his last eight starts while posting a 5.71 ERA during that stretch. His next outing is scheduled for Saturday at home against the Red Sox.

Peralta did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Dodgers, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out three over four innings.

Peralta ran into trouble in the third inning, when a walk and two doubles allowed Los Angeles to plate two runs, before he surrendered another run in the fourth. Sunday marked an improvement from his first start of the second half -- when he was tagged for seven runs by the Brewers -- but the veteran right-hander has still completed five innings only once over his last five outings. Peralta has struggled since joining New York, posting a 4.99 ERA and 1.48 WHIP across 22 starts. With the trade deadline approaching, rumors suggest Sunday's outing may have been his final start in a Mets uniform.

Single-A San Jose reinstated Cayama (back) from the 7-day injured list Friday.

Cayama has yet to make an appearance for San Jose since being activated, but he's been cleared to return to action in the California League after making four rehab appearances in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League over the past two weeks. Between his stops in the ACL and at San Jose this season, Cayama has generated a 4.40 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 50:9 K:BB across 43 innings.

Salina (elbow) made his debut in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on May 8 and has allowed five earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out four batters over 2.1 innings in three appearances on the season.

Salina didn't make his professional debut in 2025 after undergoing Tommy John surgery in the spring before being selected in the fourth round of the First-Year Player Draft later that summer. Per Daniel Barrand of ProspectsLive.com, Salina sported a fastball that sat around 96-to-97 mph during his first outing in the ACL and peaked at 99 mph. However, Salina experienced shoulder fatigue following his second appearance May 15, which kept him out for two months before he returned to action with a one-inning outing in the ACL on Thursday, per MadFriars.com.

Leahy allowed two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out nine over six innings in a no-decision versus the Reds on Sunday.

Leahy continues to impress -- this was the first time he's allowed multiple runs since June 17 versus the Padres. Over his four outings in July, he's given up just three runs across 20 innings while adding a 21:3 K:BB. Leahy is now at a 3.55 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 88:34 K:BB through 101.1 innings over 20 starts this season. While his 3.0 BB/9 is a bit of a concern, Leahy is doing a good job of limiting damage, especially over the last month-plus. His next start is projected to be at Toronto.
