Lorenzen (5-4) allowed a hit and five walks over five shutout innings Friday, striking out four and earning a win over the Rays.

Lorenzen's control was shaky and nearly cost him a scoreless outing when he walked the bases loaded in the fifth inning, but he managed to escape the jam. He's thrown exactly five innings in three straight starts and has walked nine batters over his last two outings. Lorenzen dropped his season ERA to 3.21 with a lackluster 62:40 K:BB through 87 innings. His next start is lined up to be on the road against the Angels.

Ragans did not factor into the decision in Friday's 4-2 loss versus Colorado, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks over seven innings. He struck out eight.

The Kansas City ace generated 21 whiffs en route to fanning eight, earning his 13th quality start in 18 appearances. Ragans has rounded into a Cy Young contender with his last 10 outings, firing a 2.52 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 77:21 K:BB across 60.2 innings. Overall, he sports a 3.28 ERA with a 134:37 K:BB across 109.2 innings on the year. The 26-year-old currently lines up to face the Red Sox on the road next weekend for his next outing.

Baz (0-1) allowed three runs on seven hits and a walk over six innings Friday, striking out six and taking the loss against the Rangers.

Making his first MLB appearance since July 10, 2022, Baz delivered a quality start on 92 pitches. He looked impressive outside of an ugly three-run third inning. His fastball averaged 96.2 mph and topped out at 99.1. Baz posted a 4.12 ERA with a 44:23 K:BB across 39.1 frames with Triple-A Durham prior to his promotion. The 25-year-old's spot in the rotation could be in question once Jeffrey Springs (elbow) is ready to return. As of now, Baz is in line to face the Yankees at home next week.

Corbin did not factor into the decision in Friday's 7-6 loss to the Cardinals, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks with three strikeouts over five innings.

Corbin opened with three scoreless innings but allowed three runs over the fourth and fifth frames before departing with a 5-3 lead. The southpaw generated only five swinging strikes on 91 pitches but has now completed at least five innings in 12 consecutive outings. Despite the solid volume this season, the 34-year-old owns a 5.49 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 68:35 K:BB over 100 innings. He lines up for a road matchup with the Mets next week.

Bibee (7-3) yielded four runs on six hits and two walks over 4.2 innings Friday, striking out six and taking a loss against the Giants.

Bibee got off to a brutal start, coughing up three runs in the first inning. He snapped his streak of three consecutive quality starts with his shortest outing since May 8. Bibee went 3-1 with a terrific 40:4 K:BB in five June starts and was 5-1 over his previous 10 outings before Friday's loss. He now owns a 3.67 ERA with a 115:24 K:BB through 98 frames. Bibee's next outing is projected to be in Detroit.

Gray did not factor into the decision in Friday's 7-6 win against the Nationals, allowing five runs on eight hits and one walk with six strikeouts over five innings.

Gray allowed a total of five runs over the first three innings and departed after five frames with a 5-3 deficit. He surrendered eight hard hits and now carries a 5.09 ERA in road starts compared to a 1.90 mark at home . On the season, the 34-year-old owns a 3.30 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 115:24 K:BB over 92.2 innings. He lines up for a home matchup against the Royals next week.

Freeland did not factor into the decision in Friday's 4-2 win over Kansas City, allowing two runs (one earned) on seven hits and one walk over seven innings. He struck out five.

The Colorado veteran fired his third consecutive quality start, as he continues his resurgence after returning from the 60-day injured list June 23. Over his last three outings, Freeland has a 1.37 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 12:4 K:BB across 19.2 innings while making two of those appearances in Coors Field. The 31-year-old is currently slated to make his next start against the Reds in Cincinnati.

Nola (10-4) yielded three runs on five hits over six innings Friday, striking out eight and earning a win over Atlanta.

Nola got through three shutout frames before coughing up a two-run shot to Austin Riley in the fourth inning. Ozzie Albies then knocked a solo homer in the sixth. It was the first time that Nola gave up multiple home runs since May 31, and he allowed just three in the entire month of June. He forced a season-high 21 swinging strikes Friday, with 10 coming on the knuckle curve. Nola has delivered a quality start in nine of his last 10 outings, including in four straight. During that 10-start stretch, the veteran righty has posted a 3.34 ERA while going 6-2. Nola will carry a 3.48 ERA into his next outing, which is currently lined up to be at home against the Dodgers.

Fried (7-4) allowed five runs on 11 hits and a walk over six innings Friday, striking out four and taking a loss against the Phillies.

Fried worked through three scoreless frames before beginning to unravel. He gave up three runs in the fourth inning and two more in the sixth. Of the five runs he allowed, four came via a pair of two-run shots from Trea Turner. Fried had given up just three runs over his previous three starts but saw his season ERA jump from 2.91 to 3.18 after Friday's hiccup. His next start is lined up to be in Arizona.

The Diamondbacks are expected to call up Diaz from Triple-A Reno to start Monday's game against Atlanta, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Regarded as one of the top pitching prospects in Arizona's farm system, Diaz earned a promotion June 11 to Reno, where he's posted a 3.27 ERA and 1.23 WHIP alongside a 28:9 K:BB over 22 innings across four starts. Monday would mark the 23-year-old's MLB debut, though he would likely be sent back to Reno following his start against Atlanta.
