Wendle isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Wendle went 3-for-11 with a homer, two runs and two RBI across the last three games. Yandy Diaz will start at the hot corner and bat fourth.

Diaz went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's 10-5 win over the Angels.

Diaz hit a solo home run off Packy Naughton, one of two consecutive blasts off the young left-hander. In addition, he drove in a pair of runs on a fourth-inning single. However, he is batting just .140 with a .499 OPS in his last 18 games. For the season, the 30-year-old is slashing .273/.332/.428 with eight home runs, 44 RBI and 28 runs scored in 295 plate appearances.

Atlanta recalled Arcia from Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday.

Atlanta had been getting by with Ehire Adrianza as its lone utility player since Arcia was optioned to Triple-A over the weekend, but the latter's return to the active roster will give manager Brian Snitker another option off the bench. Unless Atlanta loses one of Austin Riley or Dansby Swanson over the final week and a half of the season, however, Arcia is unlikely to pick up regular starts while the team looks to secure the National League East crown.

Crawford went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and two RBI in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Athletics.

Crawford went deep off Sergio Romo in the ninth inning, extending Seattle's lead to three runs. In addition, he drove in Dylan Moore in the fourth frame. Over his last 20 games, he is slashing .321/.404/.494 with 12 RBI and 16 runs. On the season, the 26-year-old is slashing .269/.334/.374 with nine long balls, 50 RBI and 82 runs scored in 635 plate appearances.

Ahmed's recent absence from the starting lineup is due to a sore right shoulder.

Arizona manager Torey Lovullo said the issue is "very typical for this time of the year," while acknowledging Ahmed has been available if needed. Josh Rojas and Ildemaro Vargas have filled in at shortstop while Ahmed gets time off.

Bogaerts went 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBI on Tuesday against the Mets.

Bogaerts paced Boston's offense, accounting for four of the team's six runs scored. He launched his 23rd home run of the season and also drove in two with a single later in the game. Bogaerts has now recorded five multi-hit efforts in his last 10 starts. For the season, he's maintained a .303/.373/.515 line across 561 plate appearances.

Chang went 1-for-3 with a three-run triple during Tuesday's win over the Royals.

Chang gave Cleveland an early lead with a one-out, bases-clearing triple against Daniel Lynch in the first inning. In his last four games, Chang has contributed a double, a triple and a home run. He is expected to see regular playing time against left-handed pitching over the final two weeks of the season.

Ahmed is once again out of the lineup Tuesday versus the Braves.

The 31-year-old is absent from the lineup for the fourth consecutive game, while still having no mention of injury. Ildemaro Vargas makes the start at shortstop and will bat eighth.

Rojas (knee) is starting Tuesday's game against the Nationals.

Rojas was held out of the lineup the last two games due to a left knee contusion, but he went 0-for-1 with an RBI on Monday. He'll start at shortstop and lead off.

Correa went 4-for-5 with a double, two runs and an RBI in Monday's 10-0 win over the Angels.

Correa has thrived as a run producer over the past week of games, providing five extra-base hits (two home runs, three doubles) while driving in 11 over a seven-game stretch. With 86 RBI on the campaign, Correa will have an outside chance during the final two weeks of the season at reaching the career-high total (96) he established in 2016.
