Bogaerts is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.

After sitting out a July 17 loss to the Yankees with a sore wrist, Bogaerts returned to the lineup a day later and has proceeded to start in seven straight contests, going 5-for-26 at the dish. The Red Sox haven't indicated that Bogaerts' absence from the lineup Monday is for an injury-related reason, so he may just be receiving some maintenance during a busy schedule for Boston, which is in the midst of a stretch of 12 games in as many days.

DeJong is hitting .359 (14-for-39) with a double, three home runs, seven RBI, two walks and nine runs over his last 12 games.

DeJong went 3-for-8 with an RBI and two runs over the last two games of the three-game weekend set against the Reds, keeping his average over the Mendoza Line (.203) for the time being. The slugging shortstop's recent surge at the plate was long overdue, considering he was hitting a miserable .157 as recently as June 24.

The Cardinals promoted Winn from Low-A Palm Beach to High-A Peoria on Monday.

Winn will be joined in Peoria by outfielder Todd Lott and lefty pitcher Kevin Marnon, both of whom also received promotions Monday. A 2020 second-round pick, Winn is the clear top prospect of the trio, and one of the more impressive talents in the lower levels of the minors. In his first taste of professional ball at Palm Beach, Winn slashed .262/.370/.388 with three home runs and a 16-for-18 success rate on stolen-base attempts across 284 plate appearances. The 19-year-old shortstop possesses the athleticism and arm to stick at the position over the long haul, and he should tap into more power as he adds strength to his 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame.

Marcano, Jack Suwinski and Michell Miliano were traded from the Padres to the Pirates in exchange for Adam Frazier on Sunday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

Marcano made his major-league debut earlier this season, and he hit .182 with a double, seven runs and three RBI in 25 games with the Padres. He's spent most of the year at the Triple-A level and could report to Triple-A Indianapolis, but he could fill Frazier's spot at second base at some point in 2021.

Baez suffered a lower-body injury during Sunday's win over the Diamondbacks, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Baez went to the ground in the bottom of the eighth inning Sunday while trying to beat out a grounder, but he walked off the field under his own power and remained in the game for the top of the ninth. Manager David Ross didn't offer clarification regarding the shortstop's status after the game, and whether the issue impacts his availability for Monday's game against the Reds remains to be seen. The 28-year-old went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts Sunday.

Diaz (hand) will be reinstated from the 10-day injured list Monday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Diaz appeared in six games during his recent rehab assignment, and he went 4-for-18 with a double, two runs, two RBI, five walks and four strikeouts during that time. The 30-year-old has been sidelined since June 6 due to a fractured right hand, but he should be available for the series opener in Seattle.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that Seager (hand) will "most likely" require a minor-league rehab assignment before being reinstated from the 60-day injured list, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Seager continues to progress in his recovery from the fractured right hand, as he was spotted Sunday at Dodger Stadium fielding grounders and throwing from shortstop. While the Dodgers head to San Francisco on Tuesday for the start of a three-game series, Seager is expected to report to the team's spring training facility in Arizona to play in at least a couple of simulated games. If all goes well, Seager would presumably be ready to begin a rehab assignment during the upcoming weekend, which would likely rule out a return from the IL before the end of July. Seager still looks to be in good shape to be activated in the first week of August.

Rojas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Rojas will take a seat for the first time in the second half after he slashed an impressive .361/.415/.556 through Miami's first 10 games since the All-Star break. Deven Marrero will fill in for Rojas at shortstop.

Swanson went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a walk, a run and an RBI in Saturday's 15-3 win over the Phillies.

After going hitless over a three-start stretch from July 18 to 21, Swanson has bounced back with a big series in Philadelphia. Through the first three contests against the Phillies, Swanson has gone 6-for-13 with a home run, two doubles, two walks and five RBI. He'll start at shortstop and bat fifth Sunday in the series finale.

Arcia is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

He'll sit for the third straight game in favor of Abraham Almonte, who seems to have moved ahead of Arcia on the depth chart in left field. Since getting a call-up to Atlanta in early July, Arcia has slashed .227/.292/.386 with two home runs and one stolen base.
