Yesavage (shoulder) will make a rehab start with Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider told reporters Friday that there was some uncertainty as to whether Yesavage would join the team next week in Los Angeles. It sounds like the 22-year-old right-hander will get at least one more start in the minors, and Patrick Corbin's strong start Thursday against the Brewers may have factored into that decision. Assuming Yesavage doesn't suffer any setbacks in his next rehab start, he could rejoin the Blue Jays for the opener of their home series against the Red Sox that begins Monday, April 27. In Yesavage's last rehab start with Buffalo on Wednesday, he allowed three runs on seven hits (including two homers) and one walk while striking out five across 4.1 innings.

The Mariners reinstated Refsnyder from the paternity list Friday, Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com reports.

After spending three days away from the team to welcome a new addition to his family, Refsnyder will return to the Mariners and resume working as bench depth. The 35-year-old has yet to record his first base hit through 16 at-bats this season.

The Mariners placed Wisdom on the 10-day injured list Friday due to a left oblique strain, retroactive to Wednesday.

Wisdom may have picked up the injury during his last outing Tuesday against the Padres, when he struck out in his lone plate appearance. Wisdom is eligible to be activated from the IL in late April, though oblique injuries tend to carry a longer recovery timeline. Rob Refsnyder (personal) was activated from the Mariners' paternity list in a corresponding move.

Miller (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

General manager Justin Hollander said Miller will likely need the full 30 days to build his arm up, according to Kramer. The plan for Saturday is for Miller to throw two innings or 30 pitches. The right-hander missed almost the entirety of spring training and has been throwing for the last couple weeks. It sounds like he could rejoin the Mariners later next month.

Manager Kevin Cash said Friday that Uceta has soreness in the back of his right shoulder following his latest rehab appearance at Triple-A Durham, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Uceta was roughed up a bit during his outing Wednesday, allowing two earned runs on five hits over 1.1 innings. The Rays will now shut him down for a few days before re-evaluating him, at which point an updated timeline for his return may emerge.

The White Sox optioned Gilbert to Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.

Gilbert was recalled by the White Sox ahead of Wednesday's game against the Rays, during which he allowed four runs on two hits and two walks while striking out two batters across 1.2 innings. He'll return to Triple-A while the White Sox promote Doug Nikhazy in a corresponding move.

The White Sox recalled Nikhazy from Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.

The 26-year-old southpaw's last minor-league appearance was Tuesday against Jacksonville, when he allowed three hits and two walks while striking out four across four scoreless frames. Bikhazy has started in his two outings in Triple-A this season, but he'll likely serve out of the White Sox's bullpen in a long-relief role. Tyler Gilbert was optioned to Charlotte in a corresponding move.

Collins (knee) is not in the Royals' starting lineup against the Yankees on Friday but is available off the bench, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Friday marks the third consecutive game that Collins is out of the lineup due to a right knee contusion, but he's progressed enough in his recovery that he can enter the game should the Royals require his services. Collins has opened the season slashing .214/.327/.310 with one home run, four RBI and four runs scored over 49 plate appearances.

Lukes isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Lukes will sit down for a second consecutive game after going 0-for-23 at the plate since the beginning of the month. Davis Schneider, Daulton Varsho and Jesus Sanchez will start across the outfield while Lukes rests.

Peters is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Athletics.

Peters will sit for a second straight game, with the White Sox starting Sam Antonacci, Luisangel Acuna and Everson Pereira in the outfield from left to right. Over his last 10 games since April 4, Peters has gone 2-for-22 (.091 average) with one walk and six strikeouts.
