Erceg secured his second save of the season in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Nationals after tossing a scoreless ninth inning.

Erceg was called upon for the save chance with Carlos Estevez having pitched each of the last three days. Erceg needed just seven pitches to retire the side, earning his first save since April 25. Estevez is second in baseball with 30 saves and will only give way if injured or unavailable. Erceg is sitting pretty behind him with a 2.52 ERA and 19 holds.

Keith went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 9-6 loss to the White Sox.

Keith waited for the ninth inning to truly chip in Tuesday, but he made his mark with his 10th home run of the season. The 23-year-old has been good lately with a .433 batting average and two home runs across his last 10 games. Keith is seeing regular time as Detroit's leadoff hitter against righties, which gives his fantasy value a boost due to the strong lineup around him.

Martin (calf) experienced pain while throwing a live batting practice session Tuesday, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Martin was attempting to throw closer to full intensity while he faced live hitters Tuesday, but he soon felt irritation in the strained left calf that sent him to the injured list in late July. He will now slow down his rehab process to avoid injuring his calf further, which will push his expected return date further toward the end of August or possibly into September.

Wacha (7-9) got the win Tuesday over the Nationals, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out three in 5.2 innings.

Wacha was one out away from completing five scoreless frames but a triple from Luis Garcia pushed across the first run for the Nationals. Another triple in the sixth by CJ Abrams led to a second run against Wacha but he was otherwise able to hold Washington at bay. Wacha has now gone six straight starts allowing two earned runs or fewer and will aim to keep his strong stretch rolling next week at home against the Rangers.

Dingler went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 9-6 loss to the White Sox.

Dingler went deep against Chicago reliever Tyler Gilbert in the seventh inning for his 11th home run of the season. The Detroit catcher is batting just .194 this month in 11 games, though he's at least mustered two long balls. On the year, Dingler has a .272/.319/.429 slash line in 92 games, and he's emerged as Detroit's primary backstop with Jake Rogers filling a reserve role.

Varsho went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Cubs.

Varsho clubbed his 12th long ball through just 120 at-bats for the year, as he's been a force in the power department when healthy in 2025. While the outfielder is batting just .242 this season, he's slugging .608 and has driven in 31 runs over only 32 games.

Clement went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Cubs.

Clement is embarking on quite the power surge, having now gone deep in three straight games and four of his last five. The 29-year-old infielder is pushing to maintain steady playing time in Toronto's infield now that Andres Gimenez has returned from the injured list. Across his last 13 outings, Clement is hitting a torrid .357 with eight extra-base hits and eight RBI covering 56 at-bats.

Volpe went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 9-1 win over the Twins.

The speedy shortstop belted his 18th homer of the year, and he tallied at least three RBI for the seventh time in 2025. While Volpe has a middling .708 OPS for the campaign, he remains well within striking distance of a 20-20 season. Over his last 133 at-bats (36 games), he's slugging .436 with 13 extra-base hits, 21 RBI and six stolen bases despite a .195 batting average.

Stanton went 4-for-5 with a home run, a double and three RBI in Tuesday's 9-1 win over the Twins.

The four hits established a season high for the 35-year-old veteran slugger, who matched a season high in RBI while launching his 12th homer of the year. Stanton has now played right field in four games, and his move back to the outfield should bode well for his chances of seeing more playing time down the stretch. He's slashing a potent .320/.391/.699 with each of his 12 long balls, three doubles and 31 RBI over 115 plate appearances since the start of July.

Berrios (9-4) earned the win Tuesday against the Cubs, allowing two hits and four walks in 5.1 scoreless innings. He struck out three.

Tuesday marked Berrios' first scoreless start since June 27 in Boston, and the two hits allowed matched a season low. However, the four walks fell one short of tying a season high, and the right-hander has surpassed five strikeouts on just one occasion over his last eight outings. Berrios has a weak 4.95 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 30:12 K:BB across those last eight appearances (40 innings) since the start of July, though he'll try to build on Tuesday's positive showing this weekend at home versus the Rangers.
