Yankees' Ryan Yarbrough: Mixed results in no-decision
Yarbrough did not factor into the decision in Friday's 2-1 extra-inning loss to the Red Sox, allowing one run on four hits and three walks with three strikeouts over 4.2 innings.
Yarbrough allowed just one run in the second inning but tossed only one clean inning while throwing only 45 of 78 pitches for strikes. It was a solid rebound after the Red Sox tagged the 33-year-old for eight runs Saturday, though he's now failed to complete five frames in back-to-back outings. He'll carry a 3.96 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 46:16 K:BB across 50 innings into a home matchup with the Angels next week.

The southpaw currently leads the majors with 96.1 innings and 117 strikeouts while sporting a 2.24 ERA and 1.03 WHIP. He's slated to face the Mariners on the road next week.

Royals' Jonathan India: Leaves early with injury
India was removed from Friday's game against the Athletics with an apparent shoulder injury, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.
A trainer came out to look at India's shoulder after the 28-year-old dove for a ball in the sixth inning. He initially remained in the game but didn't take the field for the start of the seventh inning. An update on his status may come after Friday's contest, but fantasy managers can consider him day-to-day for now.

Jacob Melton LF | TB
Astros' Jacob Melton: Battling sore ankle
Melton was removed from Friday's game against the Twins with right ankle soreness, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
Melton had gone 2-for-2 with a triple, a career-high three RBI and a run scored before his ankle forced him out of the game in the fifth inning. It's currently unclear if his injury is severe enough to put him at risk of missing time, but Jose Altuve may spend more time in left field if that ends up being the case.

Gausman (5-5) took the loss against the Phillies on Friday, allowing four runs on four hits and four walks while striking out seven across five innings.

Gausman generated 15 whiffs on 95 pitches (56 strikes) and punched out at least seven batters for the fifth time this season, but he has given up at least three earned runs in three consecutive starts. The 34-year-old ace is up to 4.08 ERA across 81.2 innings this season, but his 1.07 WHIP ranks 10th among qualified starters in the American League. He's slated to face the Diamondbacks at home next week.

Logan Evans RP | SEA
Mariners' Logan Evans: Optioned to Tacoma
The Mariners optioned Evans to Triple-A Tacoma on Friday.
Evans owns a 3.38 ERA and 1.33 WHIP over 40 innings across seven starts on the year, but with Logan Gilbert (elbow) nearing a return, the former will be pushed out of the MLB rotation. Zach Pop will join the Mariners' pitching staff in a corresponding move to provide extra bullpen depth.

Mariners' Zach Pop: Selected to MLB roster
The Mariners selected Pop's contract from Triple-A Tacoma on Friday.
After signing a minor-league deal with Seattle in April, Pop began his tenure in the organization in rookie ball but joined the Triple-A club in late May, and at that level he owns a 3.52 ERA and 1.25 WHIP in 7.2 innings. He'll now join the big-league squad to give the Mariners some extra bullpen depth and will likely be limited to low-leverage situations after posting a 5.81 ERA in the majors across the past two seasons. Logan Evans was optioned to Tacoma in a corresponding move.
