Harris went 2-for-5 with a double, four RBI and a run scored in Monday's extra-inning loss against the Cubs.

Harris' hot stretch continued Monday as he matched a season high with four RBI in the extra-inning loss. The center fielder has been locked in at the plate, slashing .315/.325/.565 with an .890 OPS, seven doubles, eight homers and 27 RBI over his past 30 games. A lack of improvement in the walk department hasn't slowed him down, as the 24-year-old has been one of Atlanta's most reliable bats of late.

Civale allowed a hit and no walks while striking out four over three scoreless innings Monday against Atlanta.

Civale impressed in his Cubs debut, tossing three scoreless innings to help set the stage for a comeback win. The right-hander was claimed off waivers from the White Sox on Sunday after logging a 5.26 ERA and 1.37 WHIP over 89 innings (18 starts) between Chicago and Milwaukee. Though he's worked as a starter in his career, the Cubs plan to use him out of the bullpen down the stretch.

Burgos suffered a right forearm contusion in Monday's 7-5 extra-inning loss to the Rangers, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Burgos was struck in the right arm by a 108.6 mph line drive off the bat of Alejandro Osuna with two outs in the top of the ninth inning, ultimately exiting the game as a result. The right-hander underwent X-rays, which came back negative, but he will undergo additional testing Tuesday.

Rea did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks over four innings against Atlanta. He struck out three.

Rea was unimpressive Monday, failing to get through five innings and allowing plenty of traffic on the bases. The right-hander has shown signs of wearing down lately, pitching to a 5.03 ERA and 1.53 WHIP over 34 innings in his last seven outings. He's slated to take the ball again Sunday against Washington.

Gurriel suffered a right knee injury in Monday's 7-5 extra-inning loss to the Rangers, Megan Plain of Fox 10 Phoenix reports.

Gurriel was carted off the field after wiping out in left field in the sixth inning, and it is now understood to be a knee injury. Manager Torey Lovullo said following the game that Gurriel will undergo imaging on his right knee Tuesday and that "it doesn't look great." With less than a month remaining in the 2025 season, it's certainly possible that the injury could prove to be season-ending for the 31-year-old.

Carroll went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run scored in Monday's 7-5 extra-inning loss to the Rangers.

Carroll has been filling the box score lately, racking up 10 extra-base hits and nine steals over his last 16 games. He's batting .323 (20-for-62) in that span. The outfielder is up to 23 steals on 27 attempts this season, so he'll likely fall short of matching the 35 thefts he had last year. He's added a .258/.332/.556 slash line with 29 home runs, 71 RBI, 93 runs scored, 27 doubles and 16 triples through 122 contests.

Locklear went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 7-5 extra-inning loss to the Rangers.

Locklear hit his third homer of the year in the second inning. His last long ball also came against Texas on Aug. 11. The first baseman's blast snapped an 0-for-20 skid over his previous seven games. Despite those struggles, he's set to start a majority of the time at first base following Pavin Smith's season-ending quad injury. Locklear is batting just .163 with six RBI, nine runs scored and two stolen bases over 97 plate appearances, so he still has plenty of work to do to prove himself in the majors.

Perdomo went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 7-5 extra-inning loss to the Rangers.

Perdomo has hit three homers and has a total of five extra-base hits over his last 10 games, going 10-for-41 (.244) in that span. The shortstop went back-to-back with Ketel Marte in the first inning to give Arizona an early advantage. Perdomo is up to 16 homers this season, two more than he had overall in the first three full campaigns of his career. He's added a .285/.385/.448 slash line with 88 RBI, 86 runs scored and 24 stolen bases across 138 contests.

Marte went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 7-5 extra-inning loss to the Rangers.

Marte was back at second base after three games at designated hitter. He hasn't been reported to have an injury, and his recent string of games in a non-fielding role could simply be part of the plan to keep both Blaze Alexander and Jordan Lawlar involved down the stretch. Marte's bat has been fine lately, as he's gone 11-for-41 (.268) over his last 11 games, but his homer Monday was his first extra-base hit in that span. For the season, he's posted a .290/.390/.527 slash line with 24 homers, 61 RBI, 76 runs scored and four stolen bases over 105 games.

Nelson allowed three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out seven over six innings in a no-decision versus the Rangers on Monday.

This was Nelson's third straight quality start, and he's allowed seven runs over 18 innings in that span. While he's not blowing away opposing hitters, he's been steady and reliable with passable strikeout totals in much of his time as a starter. Overall, he's posted a 3.57 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 115:33 K:BB across 131 innings through 29 appearances (19 starts) this season. Nelson is projected for a home start versus the Red Sox this weekend.
