Keith is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Yankees.

Southpaw Ryan Weathers is on the bump for the Yankees, so the Tigers will send three of key left-handed hitters in Keith, Riley Greene and Kerry Carpenter to the bench to open up more spots in the lineup for righty bats. Keith has logged just 14 plate appearances versus lefties this season and has reached base on just two occasions.

Carpenter is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Yankees.

After a stretch of four consecutive starts, the left-handed-hitting Carpenter will hit the bench while the Yankees send southpaw Ryan Weathers to the bump. With Riley Greene and Colt Keith joining Carpenter on the bench, the Tigers will go with Jahmai Jones at designated hitter and Matt Vierling, James Outman and Ben Malgeri as their starters in the outfield from left to right.

Kremer (quadriceps) will throw a bullpen session at Camden Yards on Monday and is under consideration to return from the 15-day injured list to start Wednesday's game versus the White Sox, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Kremer has been shelved since late April with a right quad strain, but he looks to be in line to rejoin the Orioles rotation Wednesday as long as he completes Monday's bullpen session and bounces back with no issues. The righty struck out eight over 6.2 scoreless frames in his last rehab start for Triple-A Norfolk on Friday, getting his pitch count up to 79. Kremer posted a 4.09 ERA and 16:2 K:BB over 11 innings covering two starts with Baltimore before getting hurt.

Greene is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Yankees.

It's the first time since April 17 and just the second time all season that Greene has been absent from the lineup. Matt Vierling will play left field and bat leadoff versus left-hander Ryan Weathers while Greene takes a seat.

Benintendi is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles.

Benintendi will be given a night off after he went 4-for-15 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run while serving as Chicago's designated hitter over the previous four games. Randal Grichuk will get a turn at DH in the series opener in Baltimore.

The Mets recalled Gerber from Triple-A Syracuse on Monday.

Gerber has fared well in his opportunities in the majors this season, holding the opposition to just one run with a 6:1 K:BB over five innings. He will likely be utilized in a middle-relief role.

The Mets optioned Myers to Triple-A Syracuse on Monday.

Myers was touched up for three runs on six hits over three relief innings in Sunday's loss to the Phillies, and he's collected an uninspiring 6.21 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 32:12 K:BB in 42 innings for the Mets this season. Joey Gerber was called up from Triple-A to replace Myers in the bullpen and on the 26-man active roster.

The Nationals outrighted Lara to Double-A Harrisburg on Monday.

He's no longer on the 40-man roster, but Lara will remain in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. The hard-throwing righty holds a 10.13 ERA and 22:31 K:BB across 16 frames at the Double-A level in 2026.

The Nationals recalled Cornelio from Triple-A Rochester on Monday.

Cornelio has been shaky in three appearances for the Nationals this season, logging a 6.48 ERA and 4:9 K:BB over 8.1 innings. Though most of the 26-year-old's pro experience is as a starting pitcher, he pitched in a relief role with Rochester after being sent down by the Nationals earlier this month, and he appears ticketed for the bullpen during this stint in the majors.

Ingle is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.

Ingle will head to the bench for the first time since he was called up from Triple-A Columbus on Friday. While making two starts at designated hitter and one in left field during the Guardians' weekend series versus Seattle, Ingle went 1-for-7 with three walks, two RBI and one run.
