The Giants reinstated Ramos (quadriceps) from the 10-day injured list Sunday. He'll start at designated hitter and bat third in the Giants' series finale versus Atlanta.

The 26-year-old worked as San Francisco's primary left fielder prior to suffering a quadriceps strain in mid-May, but he's now expected to work more in right field since Jung Hoo Lee has shifted to center to cover for the injured Harrison Bader (foot). Through 176 plate appearances this season, Ramos has a .267/.307/.424 slash line with four home runs, 20 RBI and 19 runs scored.

Higashioka is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.

The Rangers will keep Higashioka on the bench for a second straight game while Elias Diaz is rewarded with another start after driving in two runs during Saturday's 7-4 win. Higashioka should still be well positioned to see the larger share of the starts at catcher while Danny Jansen (forearm) is on the shelf.

Martin (shoulder) was sent to Double-A Frisco on Sunday to begin a rehab assignment.

Martin landed on the 15-day injured list June 1 due to a right shoulder impingement. The 40-year-old right-hander may need more than one appearance in the minors to knock off his rust, but he shouldn't be in line for an extended stay on the farm before slotting back into the Texas bullpen. Martin has two wins and one hold this season in 12 appearances to go along with a 7.84 ERA, 1.94 WHIP and 7:2 K:BB over 10.1 innings.

France (wrist) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

France is sitting for a second consecutive game after being hit by a pitch in the wrist during Friday's contest. The first baseman already had X-rays come back negative and isn't expected to require an IL stint, so it's possible he's available off the bench Sunday.

Wilson (shoulder) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

A sore left shoulder will keep Wilson out of the starting nine for a fourth straight game, paving the way for Alika Williams to receive another nod at shortstop. The Athletics deemed Wilson available off the bench for Saturday's 5-2 loss, though the 24-year-old ultimately went unused. Wilson can be viewed as day-to-day heading into a three-game series with the Dodgers that begins Monday.

Soderstrom (hip) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Soderstrom will receive some maintenance for his sore left hip after striking out in his lone at-bat Saturday before the Athletics lifted him in the bottom of the third inning. Manager Mark Kotsay said Soderstrom was scheduled for a re-evaluation Sunday, after which the Athletics should have a better idea whether the 24-year-old's hip issue is a day-to-day concern or something that will require a trip to the injured list. The Athletics will go with Colby Thomas as their starter in left field during the series finale in Anaheim.

Canzonze is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians in order to rest his ailing right hamstring, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Canzone missed one game after sustaining the right hamstring injury last Sunday versus Boston, but he returned Wednesday and started three of the past four games. He doesn't appear to have suffered a setback and is instead just resting the hamstring, so Canzone will most likely return to the lineup Monday against the Angels.

Kurtz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Joey Meneses will pick up a start at first base while Kurtz receives a breather for just the second time all season and for the first time since April 1. Kurtz will be joined on the bench by shortstop Jacob Wilson (shoulder) and Tyler Soderstrom (hip), both of whom are day-to-day with injuries.

Bubic (elbow) allowed a hit and no walks with no strikeouts across two scoreless innings in Saturday's rehab start with Triple-A Omaha.

Bubic resumed his rehab assignment Wednesday by tossing a perfect inning, and Saturday marked another positive step as the left-hander completed two scoreless innings on 22 pitches (15 strikes). He has been sidelined since May 18 due to left elbow soreness, though his initial rehab assignment was halted after one outing June 9 because of left shoulder discomfort. A return to Kansas City before the All-Star break remains possible, but if the left-hander gets fully stretched out, he likely won't get activated until after the break. The Royals will evaluate how Bubic feels Sunday before determining his next steps, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Triolo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

Triolo's streak of 10 consecutive starts will come to an end, and with Konnor Griffin returning from the injured list Friday, Triolo appears headed back to a utility role. The 28-year-old infielder has a career-low .592 OPS through 167 plate appearances this season.
