Larnach is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Brewers.

Even with Matt Wallner dispatched to the minors and Byron Buxton (hip) out for the second straight contest, Larnach isn't getting the nod against Milwaukee right-hander Coleman Crow. James Outman, Ryan Kreidler and Austin Martin are starting in the outfield for Minnesota. Larnach hasn't homered since April 11 and has just three singles and zero RBI over his last five games.

Garcia is not in the lineup for Friday's game in Pittsburgh.

Garcia has looked lost at the plate lately, going 0-for-16 with a 0:8 BB:K over his last four contests. He'll get a day to regroup Friday while Brandon Marsh covers right field in the series opener versus the Pirates.

Buxton (hip) is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Brewers.

Buxton will miss his second straight start after he was scratched from Thursday's lineup against Miami. With Buxton missing again, Ryan Kreidler is batting eighth and making the start in center field. The No. 1 hitter in fantasy over the last 15 days, Buxton is slashing .320/.382/.860 with eight home runs, 13 RBI, 12 runs scored, three stolen bases and a 5:11 BB:K during that span.

Realmuto is absent from the lineup for Friday's game in Pittsburgh.

It's a routine day of rest after Realmuto had started at catcher in each of the previous six contests. Garrett Stubbs will be behind the dish and batting ninth in Friday's series opener versus the Pirates.

Yoshida is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against Atlanta.

Even with right-hander Spencer Strider on the mound, interim manager Chad Tracy is going with Mickey Gasper in the second spot in the lineup at designated hitter. Yoshida is 7-for-24 at the plate this month but has just one extra-base hit and zero RBI since April 19.

The Brewers optioned Fitzpatrick to Triple-A Nashville on Friday.

Fitzpatrick offered a mixed bag in his first-ever stint in the majors, allowing just two runs (one earned) but with a 4:3 K:BB and seven hits allowed over 5.2 frames. He's clearing off the roster to make room for Coleman Crow, who will start Friday's game in Minnesota.

The Angels announced Friday that Rodriguez (shoulder) will be activated from the 15-day injured list to start Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Rodriguez will be making his first big-league appearance since July 31, 2024, with multiple arm injuries keeping him on the shelf for nearly two years. He missed the first month and a half of the 2026 campaign while recovering from right shoulder inflammation, which he suffered at the end of spring training. Rodriguez made two rehab starts, allowing three runs on 12 hits and two walks with 18 strikeouts across 9.2 innings. The righty built up to 94 pitches in his most recent outing with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga last weekend, so he shouldn't be too limited from a workload standpoint in his Angels debut.

The Brewers recalled Crow from Triple-A Nashville on Friday.

Crow will be the starting pitcher in Friday's series opener in Minnesota. The rookie right-hander held his own in a spot start earlier this season, logging 5.1 innings while yielding two runs. It could be just another spot start for Crow, who has posted a 4.70 ERA and 34:13 K:BB over 30.2 innings this season with Nashville.

Davis is not in the lineup for Friday's contest versus the Phillies.

Davis had appeared set for near-daily catching reps after Joey Bart (foot) went on the injured list earlier this week, but Endy Rodriguez is drawing a second start in a row behind the dish Friday. The two catchers could split starts fairly evenly while Bart is out unless someone distinguishes themselves.

Manager A.J. Hinch said Friday that Torres (oblique) is "trending toward" beginning a rehab assignment, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Torres is eligible to be reinstated from the 10-day injured list as of Friday, but it sounds like he's going to go out on a short rehab stint prior to rejoining the Detroit lineup. Torres has slashed .259/.389/.328 with two home runs, 11 RBI, 18 runs scored and a 25:22 BB:K across 144 plate appearances this season. Hao-Yu Lee is manning second base for the Tigers on Friday.
