Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said Thursday that an MRI on Lindor's left calf showed healing, but there remains no timetable for the shortstop's return, Steve Gelbs of SNY reports.

Lindor has been resting his calf strain for the past three weeks and will now move to the strength-training portion of his recovery. He still appears several weeks away from a return, but more should be known about a potential timetable as he ramps up workouts.

Merrill is out of the lineup for Thursday's series finale against Milwaukee.

The lefty-swinging Merrill is sitting out for the final game of the series against the Brewers as San Diego faces southpaw Kyle Harrison. Merrill went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts Wednesday and has gone 2-for-22 over his past six contests. The 23-year-old will most likely be back in the starting lineup Friday as San Diego heads to Seattle to take on right-hander Emerson Hancock in the series opener.

Bolte started in center field and went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a walk in Wednesday's 6-2 victory over the Cardinals.

Bolte had an eventful big-league debut, tallying a pair of hits on groundballs to third base, one of which Nolan Gorman whiffed on in the second inning and the other being one Bolte legged out for an infield single in the fourth frame. Bolte's lone out was still a productive one, as he lifted a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning for his first career RBI while also extending the Athletics' lead. The 22-year-old's promotion to the majors Tuesday came on the heels of a blistering stretch with Triple-A Las Vegas, where he posted an 1.076 OPS with 12 homers, 28 RBI, 41 runs and 17 stolen bases across 37 appearances. One of the organization's top prospects, Bolte should receive his fair share of opportunities in Sacramento, particularly in center field and against left-handed pitching.

Mack is out of the lineup Thursday against Minnesota.

Mack went 1-for-4 with an RBI single, a run and two strikeouts in Wednesday's win over the Twins. The recently elevated rookie has seen consistent action since being added to Miami's roster May 4, with his absence Thursday ending a run of five straight starts. Liam Hicks will bat second and start at catcher over Mack in the series finale.

Bauers is on the bench for Thursday's matinee against the Padres.

Bauers went 1-for-4 with a double and two strikeouts in his start Wednesday against San Diego. The 30-year-old will come off the bench against the Padres despite San Diego starting right-hander Griffin Canning. Andrew Vaughn will bat fifth and start at first base today over Bauers.

Yelich (back) is out of the lineup Thursday against the Padres, his second consecutive absence, Hunter Baumgardt of Fox Sports 920 reports.

Yelich will continue to treat his sore back as he sits out another game against the Padres. The 34-year-old recently spent just under a month on the IL due to a groin issue, and he's now dealing with a different injury just one game after making his return. Yelich has a history of back problems, though it isn't clear if the current injury is related to his past issues. He should be considered day-to-day heading into Friday's series opener in Minnesota.

Perez struck out two over an inning of relief Wednesday in Atlanta's 4-1 win over the Cubs.

After making his last two appearances as a starter, Perez has shifted back to the bullpen while Atlanta has scaled back its rotation from six to five men. Perez may not have to wait long for his next look in the rotation, however; rookie JR Ritchie endured another shaky start Wednesday, needing 87 pitches to record 13 outs. Though Ritchie maintains a shiny 3.32 ERA through his first four big-league outings, most of his other ratios (1.43 WHIP, 2.2 K-BB%) are poor and suggest that he's benefited from some good fortune thus far in terms of run prevention. If Ritchie's control problems persist in future outings, it wouldn't be surprising if Atlanta turned back to Perez as its fifth starter. The veteran has been a steady performer throughout the season with a 2.31 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 10.9 K-BB% over his eight appearances (five starts).

Reds manager Terry Francona said that Lowder (shoulder) will resume throwing Thursday, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox 19 Now Cincinnati reports.

Lowder was given an injection in the injured AC joint of his right shoulder earlier this week and officially landed on the 15-day injured list Wednesday. The right-hander's absence could be relatively brief, but until Lowder is ready, the newly-signed Chris Paddack will hold down a slot in the Reds' rotation.

Raleigh (side) is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest in Houston.

Raleigh had to be removed from Wednesday's contest after tweaking something in his right side. He missed three games with a similar injury earlier this month, though it's unclear at this point whether Raleigh will need an MRI or a trip to the injured list. Mitch Garver is starting at catcher and batting eighth in Thursday's series finale.

The Reds list Singer (foot) as their probable starting pitcher for Sunday's game in Cleveland.

Singer's right foot was struck by a 106.7 mile-per-hour line drive during his most recent start Tuesday against the Nationals, but he wasn't forced out of the game early and ended up taking a loss after yielding three earned runs on six hits and one walk over 3.2 innings. The right-hander underwent follow-up X-rays following the start that returned negative, and though he's still tending to some bruising to the foot, the issue doesn't look like it will keep him from making his next turn through the rotation. Though his health seemingly isn't a concern, Singer won't make for a dependable fantasy option heading into his 10th start of the season after turning in a 5.79 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 28:11 K:BB in 42 innings through his first nine outings.
