Bradish (1-4) took the loss against the Yankees on Saturday, allowing five runs on six hits and four walks while striking out four batters over four innings.

Bradish lacked both control and command in the outing, as he walked four batters (one intentionally), hurled a wild pitch and surrendered two homers. The five runs were the most he's given up in a start so far this season, and it was the second straight game in which the righty has issued four free passes. Bradish has struggled in the latter regard this season -- his 21 walks are tied for fourth-most in the majors, though he's at least managed to somewhat balance the free passes with 35 strikeouts over 34 innings. In any case, Bradish's 5.03 ERA, 1.82 WHIP and .304 BAA aren't getting the job done, but he'll try to get on track in what projects to be a home matchup versus the Athletics his next time out.

The Mariners optioned Simpson to Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

The Mariners recalled Simpson from Triple-A on Friday, but he'll now be sent back to the minors a day later without appearing in a game for Seattle. Nick Davila was selected from Double-A Arkansas in a corresponding move.

Fermin isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the White Sox.

Fermin and Luis Campusano have seen a nearly even split in playing time behind the plate so far this year, though Saturday will mark the third time in four games that the latter has received the nod to start.

Weathers (2-2) earned the win over Baltimore on Saturday, allowing three runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks while striking out five batters over five-plus innings.

Weathers looked like he was destined for a quality start when he entered the sixth frame with a 6-1 lead, but he gave up back-to-back singles to begin that inning and was pulled after a Ben Rice error loaded the bases for Baltimore. Two of the runners he put on base ended up scoring, but neither of those runs were earned. Weathers notched 10 whiffs on his 90 pitches and gave up only one extra-base hit -- a Pete Alonso solo homer. The lefty hurler has given up two or fewer earned runs in five of his seven starts this season, leading to a tidy 3.03 ERA along with a 1.19 WHIP and 45:10 K:BB over 38.2 frames. Weathers' next start lines up to be a home matchup against Texas.

Graterol (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, Triple-A Oklahoma City broadcaster Alex Freedman reports.

Graterol's first minor-league outing will mark his first appearance in a game at any level since the 2024 World Series. Because he's been sidelined for so long since undergoing surgery on his right shoulder, he will likely require an extended stay at Triple-A before the Dodgers add him back to their bullpen.

Harris (quad) will serve as Atlanta's designated hitter and bat fifth Saturday against the Rockies.

Harris missed two consecutive starts due to left quad soreness, but after smacking a pinch-hit two-run homer during Friday's win, he'll receive the green light to rejoin the starting lineup. The 25-year-old is off to a brilliant start this year, slashing .324/.358/.569 with seven homers, 22 RBI, 12 runs and a pair of steals through 31 games.

Pages isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

Pages went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts Friday to extend his hitting streak to six games, but the Cardinals will keep him on the bench to begin Saturday's contest. Ivan Herrera will handle catching duties while Nolan Gorman works as the DH and Ramon Urias starts at the hot corner.

Langford (forearm) rejoined the Rangers in Detroit on Saturday and will rest for a full week before being reevaluated by the team, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Langford had been on track to return to the lineup Saturday but was pulled from his first game at extended spring training Thursday after aggravating his injured forearm in his first at-bat. He said afterward that his forearm felt like it did when he first strained it, so the Rangers will play it safe and allow him to rest for a while. An updated timeline for his return could emerge once he's cleared to resume activities.

Nimmo (hamstring) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Tigers.

Nimmo was taken out of Friday's game due to a nagging hamstring issue that flared up in the fourth inning. The Rangers will hold him out of action Saturday as a precaution and give Ezequiel Duran a start in right field.

The Diamondbacks assigned Locklear (elbow) to a rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League on Saturday, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Locklear underwent surgery in October to repair the labrum in his left shoulder and a torn ligament in his left elbow. He opened the season on the 10-day injured list, and he has progressed enough in his recovery to start a rehab assignment. Once Locklear gets some reps in the ACL, the Diamondbacks should have a better sense of when the 25-year-old will be ready to return to the majors. He appeared in 31 games for the Diamondbacks in 2025 and slashed .175/.267/.262 with three steals, three home runs and six RBI over 116 plate appearances.
