Lowe was scratched from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees due to neck stiffness.

Lowe has gone 5-for-19 with five walks and three steals over his last seven games, but the Angels will be without his services Wednesday as he recovers from his neck issue. Jose Siri will replace him as the Halos' left fielder and bat seventh.

Peraza will start at third base and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Yankees.

He'll stick in the lineup for a fifth consecutive game, after going 3-for-12 with a walk, two hit-by-pitches and a run scored in the prior four contests. The last three of Peraza's starts have come at third base, where he appears to have supplanted the struggling Denzer Guzman as the Angels' preferred option for the time being.

The Dodgers transferred Klein (elbow) to the 60-day injured list Wednesday.

Klein initially landed on the injured list Aug. 1 due to bone chips in his right elbow, so his move to the 60-day IL will ensure he remains out through the end of the regular season. His 40-man roster spot will be passed along to Blake Treinen (elbow), who returned from the 60-day IL in a corresponding move.

The Dodgers placed Lauer on the 15-day injured list Wednesday with left elbow inflammation.

Lauer was lit up for seven earned runs in just three innings during his start Tuesday, and he appears to have come away from his outing with an elbow issue. He'll now use the next couple of weeks to recover, and the Dodgers will return Blake Treinen (elbow) from the 60-day IL to provide extra bullpen depth while the team sorts out its rotation plans.

The Dodgers reinstated Treinen (elbow) from the 60-day injured list Wednesday.

Treinen will rejoin the Dodgers' bullpen after pitching 6.1 shutout innings between Single-A and Triple-A during his rehab assignment, striking out eight batters in the process. Eric Lauer (elbow) was placed on the 15-day IL to create space on Los Angeles' active roster, and Will Klein (elbow) moved to the 60-day IL to free up a 40-man spot.

Mautz will start Wednesday's game against the Dodgers.

He has made two relief appearances with the Cardinals this season, but Mautz will be making his first career start in the majors Wednesday in a tough matchup opposite Yoshinobu Yamamoto under the bright lights in Los Angeles. The lefty Mautz, a second-round pick in 2022, threw 61 pitches against the Pirates in his most recent appearance Aug. 29, allowing four runs on five hits and one walk while striking out eight across three relief innings.

Berroa (elbow) is scheduled to begin throwing off a mound next week, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Berroa has been on the injured list all season while working his way back from Tommy John surgery and a setback he suffered while pitching in the Arizona Complex League. He was cleared to resume throwing in early July, and although his progress has been slow, the White Sox haven't ruled out a return for the 26-year-old before the end of the season.

Bush (elbow) has been shut down for the 2026 season due to a strained left lat, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Bush has spent the entire season on the 60-day injured list while recovering from Tommy John surgery that he underwent in February of 2025. He was cleared to resume throwing in early July, but he has since suffered a setback that will keep him on the shelf for the rest of the 2026 season. Bush will turn his focus toward being fully healthy for the start of the 2027 campaign.

Rafaela was removed from Wednesday's 8-3 loss to the Mariners due to quadriceps tightness, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.

Rafaela was playing through the issue before being taken out in the seventh inning with the Red Sox facing a large deficit. Given that the move was a precautionary one, the 25-year-old center fielder can be considered day-to-day heading into Thursday's pivotal series opener against the Orioles. Eli White, Jahmai Jones and Roman Anthony would all be in line for more work in the outfield if Rafaela were to miss time.

Baez is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers.

Baez was hit by a pitch Tuesday, though he stayed in the game initially and later homered before leaving the contest in the eighth inning. Bryan Torres, Nathan Church and Jordan Walker will patrol the outfield for St. Louis on Wednesday, with Leo Bernal at DH against right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
