Williamson (shoulder) is scheduled to face hitters Wednesday, MLB.com reports.

Williamson, who injured his finger while rehabbing the shoulder in late June, has been throwing bullpen sessions at the team's training facility in Goodyear, Arizona. Wednesday's scheduled live batting practice session represents the next step in the left-hander's progression.

Dunn (elbow) could soon begin a rehab assignment serving exclusively as a designated hitter while he continues to go through a throwing progression, MLB.com reports.

Dunn has been playing catch and hit on the field with the team in Seattle. Ideally, he would play the field upon his activation off the injured list, but there's a scenario where the outfielder could serve as a regular at DH. As the Reds sprial into being sellers at the trade deadline, the swapping of two trade candidates -- Eugenio Suarez and Nathaniel Lowe -- could clear a path at DH.

Barrosa started in right field and went 1-for-2 with a double, a walk and a run scored in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Athletics.

Barrosa doubled and scored on Ketel Marte's fifth-inning home run. The former got the start in place of Corbin Carroll, who was held out of the lineup a day after suffering a hyperextended elbow. Barrosa's opportunity may be a short-lived, as Carroll's injury is not considered serious.

The Diamondbacks will call up Drake from Triple-A Reno to start Tuesday's game against the Athletics, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Drake will be making his MLB debut Tuesday, after he didn't appear in a game when he was called up as an emergency option in late June. The left-hander has had an up-and-down season for Reno, posting a 6.92 ERA over 17 appearances (16 starts). With Zac Gallen (elbow), recently joining the likes of Ryne Nelson (elbow), Michael Soroka (glute) and Corbin Burnes (elbow) on the injured list, Drake will step into the fifth spot of a depleted Arizona rotation. With a strong showing Tuesday, Drake could earn himself additional starts.

Contreras went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Monday's 6-5 win over Baltimore.

Contreras has come out of the break with an influential bat. He's gone 5-for-13 with a double, two home runs and five RBI in the four games since returning from a five-game suspension. Even when the Red Sox struggled this season -- before the club's current 14-game win streak -- Contreras made an impact. He leads the team with 22 homers, 66 RBI and a .941 OPS over 92 contests.

Durbin went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 6-5 win over the Orioles.

Durbin was the latest hero in Boston's winning streak. His eighth-inning homer over the left-field wall provided the go-ahead run in the club's 14th consecutive victory. It was the 10th home run of the season for Durbin, whose revived bat mirrors that of the team's success. The third baseman is batting .351 (13-for-37) with two homers, five RBI, two steals and eight runs scored over the last 10 games.

Vargas went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs and two RBI in a 10-3 romp over the Rangers on Monday.

Vargas put Chicago on the board in the third inning with a run-scoring double. He added another RBI double in the ninth to help Texas put the game away with a five-run frame. Vargas finished with his fifth three-hit effort of the campaign and collected multiple extra-base hits in a contest for the ninth time. The first-time All-Star is in the midst of a breakout season, slashing .247/.354/.492 while already setting career-high marks in homers (21), RBI (61) and stolen bases (11) through 98 contests.

Happ went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Monday's 8-6 extra-inning loss to the Tigers.

Happ came through in the clutch with a two-run homer to tie the game in the eighth frame, though the Cubs ultimately fell in 10 innings. He has had a quiet July, going 9-for-47 (.191) with three extra-base hits in 14 contests. Overall, the switch hitter is slashing .218/.329/.429 with 18 homers, 44 RBI, 62 runs and four stolen bases across 96 games.

DeGrom (7-6) took the loss against the White Sox on Monday, allowing five runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out six batters over 4.2 innings.

DeGrom did fine over his first four innings, giving up just one run. However, things fell apart for him in the fifth, when he yielded four runs on four hits and a walk while retiring only two batters. The crushing blow was a bases-clearing double off the bat of Andrew Benintendi, which was followed by deGrom being removed from the contest. The veteran hurler was scratched from his final start before the All-Star break due to a mild left glute strain, but it's unclear if that had any bearing on his shaky performance Monday. DeGrom hasn't been as effective overall this season as in past campaigns, as he holds a 3.76 ERA -- on track for a career-worst mark -- through 105.1 frames spanning 19 starts.

Suzuki went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Monday's extra-inning loss against Detroit.

Suzuki jumped on a center-cut fastball from Jack Flaherty, lifting it over the center-field wall for a two-run homer in the third inning. Things have been going well at the plate for Suzuki of late, as he's riding a nine-game hitting streak during which he has gone 13-for-34 (.382) with three long balls. Overall, the 31-year-old is slashing .273/.357/.476 with 16 homers, 50 RBI, 52 runs and a stolen base across 84 contests.
