Perkins will rejoin the big club as the roster replacement for Sal Frelick, who landed on the injured list Saturday with a strained right shoulder. Sal Frelick RF | MIL
Brewers' Sal Frelick: On IL with shoulder strain
The Brewers placed Frelick on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a right shoulder strain, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Frelick has been playing through pain in his shoulder for multiple months, per Sophia Minnaert of Brewers.tv, and he made an early exit from Friday's win over the Marlins after aggravating the injury while making a throw from the outfield. He's set to undergo further testing to determine the severity of his injury and help establish a clearer timetable for his return. Blake Perkins was recalled from Triple-A Nashville to replenish the Brewers' outfield depth, though Luis Lara could end up receiving most of reps in right field in Frelick's absence.

Yankees' Bradley Hanner: Signs with Yankees, sent to minors
The Yankees signed Hanner to a major-league contract and optioned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.

With Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season, the 27-year-old has posted a 1.99 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 50:16 K:BB through 40.2 innings. The Yankees transferred Judge (ribs) to the 60-day injured list Saturday.

This move is retroactive to when the 34-year-old was originally placed on the 10-day IL on June 4, yet it will still likely be at least a couple more weeks until Judge is ready to go at the big-league level. Jasson Dominguez will continue to see extended playing time in right field in Judge's absence.

Toronto recalled Lazaro Estrada to take Macko's spot on the active roster for the time being.
