The Rockies placed Criswell on the 15-day injured list Saturday with a right shoulder strain.

Criswell gave up two earned runs in two innings Friday in what was his first appearance since returning to the majors last Saturday, but the Rockies will now be without his services until at least Aug. 2. His roster spot will be filled by Tomoyuki Sugano (back), who was reinstated from the injured list to start Saturday's game against the Reds.

The Rangers recalled Corniell from Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday.

After making just one prior appearance with the big-league club this season back on June 23, Corniell is back with Texas. With Round Rock, the 23-year-old posted a 6.37 ERA, 1.74 WHIP and 27:16 K:BB in 35.1 innings. The Rangers optioned Emiliano Teodo to make room for Corniell on the active roster.

The Rangers activated Junis (hip) from the 15-day injured list Saturday.

Junis will make his way back after recently being placed on the injured list July 4. Before missing time, the 33-year-old posted a 2.80 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 27:6 K:BB through 35.1 innings. To make room for Junis on the active roster, Texas optioned Gavin Collyer to Triple-A.

The Rockies reinstated Sugano (back) from the injured list ahead of his start Saturday against the Reds.

Sugano never made any rehab starts in the minors after landing on the injured list July 4 with back spasms, so he could be working under a pitch-count restriction while he makes his return to the rotation Saturday. The 36-year-old righty has accumulated a 4.80 ERA and 1.32 WHIP across 84.1 innings this season, and he'll be tasked with keeping quiet a Cincinnati offense that's posted a .770 OPS since the beginning of the month. Jeff Criswell (shoulder) was placed on the injured list in a corresponding move.

Misiorowski (arm) will start Tuesday's game against the Mets, Hunter Baumgardt of Fox Sports 920 MIlwaukee reports.

Misiorowski missed his final turn through the rotation prior to the All-Star break due to arm fatigue, but after getting an opportunity to rest during the intermission and for Milwaukee's weekend series against Miami, he's been officially cleared to return to the rotation. The 24-year-old flamethrower is firmly in contention for the National League Cy Young Award after posting a 1.62 ERA, 0.76 WHIP and 167:27 K:BB through his first 18 starts, but Milwaukee could continue to limit his workload for the rest of the season as he trends toward surpassing his career-high innings total by a wide margin.

Wade is out of the lineup for Saturday's matchup against the Orioles, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

With southpaw Trevor Rogers on the hill for Baltimore on Saturday, Wade will be on the bench for Houston. The right-handed-hitting Zach Dezenzo will take over in left field for Wade and bat eighth for the Astros.

Jones is in the starting lineup for the first time in his tenure with Boston against Tampa Bay on Saturday.

After being traded by Detroit to Boston on Wednesday, Jones will start for the first time with his new team Saturday. With Detroit, the 28-year-old slashed .137/.219/.221 with two homers and seven RBI in 105 plate appearances. Jones will bat eighth and play left field against Tampa Bay on Saturday.

Duran is out of the lineup Saturday against Tampa Bay.

The left-handed-hitting Duran will ride the pine for Saturday's matinee against the Rays, with left-hander Ian Seymour taking the mound. Jahmai Jones will take over in left field for Duran and bat eighth for Boston.

Polanco isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies.

Polanco will grab a seat in the dugout to begin Saturday's game after going 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Thursday's second-half opener. While he sits, Juan Soto will work as the Mets' designated hitter, allowing Tyrone Taylor to start in left field.

Soto (calf) will serve as the Mets' designated hitter and bat second Saturday against the Phillies.

Soto was taken out of Thursday's game in the eighth inning due to calf soreness, but after getting an extra day to rest Friday, he'll now return to the lineup without missing any starts. The 27-year-old slugger has slashed .256/.434/.564 with four homers, 12 RBI, six runs and a 13:8 BB:K across 53 plate appearances since the beginning of July and is well on his way toward another fantastic campaign.
